Most songs were lame and whoever decided to put Marilyn Manson and Black Veil Bribes in the metal music category should get shot. I really don't understand why people don't put any oldschool metal since it's 100x times better than all that deathcore, black and death metal bull**** we got in SR3.

Meh. The Mix is teh awesome.

Few things can measure up to flying around (fake) Steelport to the sound of What is Love. Or go on a rampage with Johnny Gat and The Boys are Back in Town blasting in the background.

Finished the game yesterday, that was a lot of fun.  I still have some optional stuff to go through but I am very satisfied with the game.  Not spoiling the ending but I had a few nerdgasms from some of the references and walked away from the experience with a giant grin on my face.

I finished it a few minutes ago. Great Saints Row game or greatest Saints Row game? I'm not ready to decide. I need to come off my emotional high to rationally weigh the pros and cons first. Loved the final mission and ending. The credit artwork and post credit bit were a nice touch. I thought the final battle was a little on the easy side, but I'm willing to forgive that for all the awesome leading up to it.

Now to venture back into the Simulation and finish off my last twelve challenges for the challenge king achievement. >.<

Finished it last night myself, loved the ending as well, twas a very nice twist.  The bits right before the credits and after (assuming you got that ending) were just epicsauce.

The credits artwork was awesome, I was like "zomg I want a DLC for each one"... ok, better not say that outloud, they may get ideas. 

I won't bother too much pondering about whether it's my favorite SR game or not, I'll just rank it right next to SR2 and avoid giving myself headaches. 

I've completed  37 challenges so far, normally I wouldn't care about finishing that, but I kinda want to now. Plus it'll give me an excuse to fool around with the game some more. 

P.S.: The amount of smileys in that post may or may not be related to how happy the game made me feel.

I would totally pay for DLC following everyone's post ending adventures. To be honest, I'm surprised this is being marketed as the final Saints Row game. They could have totally spun that premise into an SR5. Why Volition?! Why?! ;_;

At least we're getting two mission based DLCs at some point.

Aside from the whole 'they could set a game anywhere and at any time' thing, why would Deep Silver pay to aquire the rights to the franchise if this was the last one?

Its not.

This was the final game of this "Trilogy". They will make more games, just not with these characters.

I consider it a quartet. In any case, there is always a chance Volition could work on an entirely new IP instead. I expect Deep Silver acquired them to profit from the sales of a mostly finished product. Sure beats waiting around for years before seeing a return on your investment.

A new Saints Row game without the old cast would be Saints Row in name alone. At least to me. A reboot or tangentially related sequel might still be great, but it just wouldn't be the same.

A Saints Row game with out the Boss and her gang is not Saints Row for me, sorry. Each game has been about the Boss's climb to power with he help of her(his in SR) loyal gang members and friends.

The boss went from street rat to enforcer, coma patient to gang leader, gang leader to celebrity, celebrity to president, president to Emperor/Empress. I care about my boss and her journey with her friends and gang. To not continue that? Well I have no interest in it.

I wish they had at least kept the Latina voice -- she was my favorite since SR2.

I have to say, I'm not sure what to call her voice to be politically correct? This is always something I run into, should I say  Mexican, Hispanic, or Latina... I just went with the latter because I wasn't sure of the character's nationality -- she never specifically says she is from Mexico.
