In SR1 "she" was a "he" ... may the sex change (while comatose) confused her and turned her into a psycho...AntiChri5 wrote...
The way i see the Boss mellowing is that in SR2 she was insecure.
In SR1, she was "too scared to talk" and then in SR2 she wakes up from a coma to find all her friends dead, about to die, in jail or traitors. So she went over the top with the violence and cruelty. But after SR2 she had the confidence to be way more laid back.
*shrug*
Just an excuse for the shift, but it works for me.

Just grabbed it, that knife thrower looks interesting.
They also released a Wild West pack.

though I found one par of the final battle to be a nightmare (the bit where you have to telekinetically throw exploding CIDs at Zinyak) due to the awful camera angles and difficulty controlling my character through the frantic action...

Perfect.
So they're still releasing the DLC that eventually became SR4? Should be interesting to see what that actually turns out to be.

I can just imagine a Dickensian tale narrated by Jane Austen. Maybe it'll even be set in Victorian times.

Hell yes! Playing through all the missions properly and getting that full ending made it somehow even better.
But it made me sad knowing that it had been said they were ending the saints story there... I mean come on, a pshycopathic gang leader and Jane Austen are given the keys to the galaxy? How is that not THE best premise in gaming history?
Sort it out DLC.

Well, I'm sure there's already fanfic in the works about the timeless (hehe) adventures of the Saints. But you're right, this game needs a ton of DLC.

I will add though I doubt this will be the last we here of The Saints as I doubt Deep Silver would have purchased the IP as well as Volition just to end it at the fourth game.

SR4 probably isn't the end of Saints Row as an IP, but it does conclude the Boss's story. According to Steve Jaros it's why they wrote so much fan service into SR4.
I'm looking forward to the Christmas DLC. It'll be the first bit of Christmas add-on content I've played since Christmas NiGHTS waaay back. There better be some sort of sleigh vehicle you can fly around. XD

I'd be extremely disappointed if, having opened this door to potential sequels, they chose to forgo it.

Plus all the possibilities for homies from historical figures.
Even without Time Travel, Amelia Earhart would make a great homie due to the nature of her dissappearance, it fits with Zinyaks's methods and the secret ending perfectly.
