Well I rarely use those. Incendiary, power amp, and others, it's a different ballpark. Would you bother with practically pointless explosive rounds if you had a million of them?

Just taking the time to pick and choose equipment for a match you know will fail anyway seems like a waste of time to me. But whatever...

Pugz, I am on about 95% of the time you are, and about 70% of that time, I am looking for a game. I might just have to start sending you invites. I wouldn't mind playing some platinum matches, I had fun with you and fallen not too long ago.

Platinum matches, matches with friends, matches that have a good chance of extracting. That's about it. If I were a  goldy player, I probably would be as carefree as you.

I'm either really super awesome or really super lucky ... and I know how I play ... I'm really super lucky. The fact is, I extract every time on bronze, 95% of the time on silver (yes, sometimes I get slapped in the chair with the B team - cripes!), and I extract about 80% on Gold. As for Plat, I'm at 60% (played 5 matches - extract 3 times).

Yes, I have to run the solo sometimes to save the team, but more often than not the team I get stuck with is competent. Maybe PC players are better, or maybe when players see me coming they say, "Ah crap, it's SpectreDTM! We need to play better, so noone thinks we play as crappy as he does!" Who knows? I'm just not seeing a lot of bad PUGs, and PUGs are all I do ...

just dont see the point of hoarding virtual ammo. flinging on consumables might juat give that small edge you need in those matches you think have no chance. most here could play 100-200 matches without running out of ammo without buying any packs to replace them.

I PUG Gold with a Vorcha Engineer with no equipments and extract in under 25 minutes.

the beauty of joining PUG's ....lobby: lvl 1 , lvl 23 and lvl 30 *sigh* or join game in progress wave 1 and the whole 3 already on the match are down and bleeding, so YAY i've to do all on my own YAY *sigh*

most cases i end dead not because of enemy AI but because of teammate either blocking my way when i need to get out quick or some kamikaze reckless behaviour...

ok I'll give u 10 grains of sand. you have 1000 already in your pocket (which is constantly renewed and added to). if you dump these 10 grains of sand into this jar, the people around u will be happier. their lives slightly enriched. only a complete douche would pocket the 10 grains.

It's pointless not to equip even lv1 consumables. The stuff is dirt cheap! and it really can make the difference from extracting and failing.
So lets consider you just completed a tough gold match and you used 2 medigel, a rocket, an ops pack and you went in using 3 equipment consumables, that accounts for 7 items which is the equivalent of TWO recruit packs! 10000 credits! If you have all the common weapons you get 2 lv1 ammo/weapon/power consumables and 2 missile/medigel/clips/ops per pack! In theory if you extracted that still leaves you with 75,000 credits (85000-10000=75000)! OVERALL, playing a gold using moderate amounts of consumables and 3 lv1 equipment leads to net return of +1 equipment and 75000 credits per game not to mention the fun you had playing the game.
So then, why not use consumables?

Sometimes plat seems to be even bronze. An hour ago I saw a lv1 Shadow + no equiment in a plat lobby. Retarded people are retarded.

How are you encountering all these horrible random players? Where are they hiding? 90% of the time when I play pick-up games I end up with good players.

Depends on the character I'm playing. Something thoughtlessly OP like the Geth Trooper, TGI, Juggs? Who needs equipment on gold. Anything lesser that really needs equipment to compare to those OP classes then, yeah, I'm equipping stuff.

Its been like this for a while then after the match the scatter out of emberrasment. Javelin GI vs vorcha sentinel with no equipment. How did you think it was going to turn out?

On PC, there are a LOT of scrubs playing gold. I assume, default, that I'll be carrying.  If I don't feel like carrying, I leave lobbies where people don't use equipment.  Yes, some people don't need it, but if I don't know you I go with the default, which is that people who don't use equipment on gold or platinum almost always suck.

If you don't have more level 1s and 2s than you know what you to do with, something's wrong.

I'd love to see this option:

6a) 15% dmg bonus
6b) 0% xtra dmg, 75% more likely to get kicked from lobby

We play everyday, Platinum that is.  Just gotta get us at a good time...for once we actually can fill a lobby with capable BSNers everyday.  Has made Platinum a lot more enjoyable for sure.
