So I started a game on Insanity as an infiltrator with slam as a bonus power.
It worked great, the cooldown is crazy so all I did was spam that power for a while.
But I noticed as the game progressed, the power did absolutely no damage about 40-50% of the time. Usually it only takes one or two hits to kill them, but now I'm LUCKY if it even damages them at all. It's as if they only get stunned. Has anyone else had this problem? :c I can usually kill husks, cannibals, and cerberus troops with one or two hits.
I maxed out the damage bonuses.
Slam not working 40% of the time :/

I don't recall this being a problem exactly. Slam is more of a CC power than direct damage dealer.
However, it can both setup and detonate biotic combos in ME3 so that is where you can get some damage.
Also, not sure if it was the issue, but enemies gain health as Shepard levels up. So weapons and powers do less relative damage to them as the game progresses. Combos are scaled, however.

Yeah, I know enemies gain health and stuff like that because otherwise the game wouldn't be hard.
It's just that in the same mission, I'll kill one soldier in one hit at full health [or two] but then I hit another soldier of the same type and health level as the other one and it does absolutely no damage.
it's honestly starting to ****** me off a bit, haha. Especially if I'm out of thermal clips.
I always forget about biotic combos. Spending 100ish hours playing ME2 just a few days ago, you forget a little about biotic explosions and the fact that you can actually run now.
