There needs to be a DLC to take Elizabeth to Paris.

You're trying to get me to say something. It won't work.

But anyway, just ended the life of Comstock. Meaning whats left? Dunno, but I assume the major boss fight everyone's been warning me about.

So, I go outside after beating her the second time, and see a Vigor upgrade machine.
Goddamn it, I can't afford the upgrade to make me invincible after charge.
Enter Elizabeth.
God I love her.

Boy, did I miss out.
I'm sucked in so hard my eyeballs hurt. Loving it. Rapture is awesome.
Once I play the first two, I'm going to be getting Infinite. But the first game sofar is amazing.

The ending, son, the endingI wonder how difficult/easy the final battle will be for you - you've got upgraded charge and I wonder if it will work. Let us now when you're done.
Well, I tried it once before deciding I'll do it tomorrow.
Got as far as the Zeppelin's coming in.
I figure the best course of action is to get the attention of the mooks on the ship so that they aren't shooting at the core while Songbird takes care of any aerial threats.
At least, thats what I think so far. Looks to be a rather difficult fight.
Gonna have to make liberal use of Charge. I brought a sniper rifle with me but I'm pretty garbage at getting quick headshots unless they're standing still, hahaha.
So we'll see how that turns out tomorrow...err, later today.

It's really sad that the game industry needed 9 freaking years to finally catch up with Alyx Vance.

Yes, that would be a very neat feature, though I doubt that will happen, since it would probably need to be done during the last minutes of the game and it doesn't make much sense to do it then.
Nice to see that you finally killed Santa Claus. Now enjoy the final moments of the game, and cry.

Got past all the Zeppelins and only had some ground troops left, but those patriots sure do a lot of damage to the core if they get up close.
Anyway, I'm totally confident I can pull this off. Trial and error.

You did better than I did. This is the fight where I stupidly stayed up top part of the time, then stood right in front of the core, and wondered why I kept dying.LPPrince wrote...

So Comstock's airship is the final battle?
Hahaha, that's what I pictured every time I saw him, too.Chewin3 wrote...

Totally different subject, but many years ago, I got a belly ring at a tattoo shop here in town. To my shock and horror, the guy that owned the place looked like a tattooed Santa Claus. When it was time to show me how to clean the ring, he whipped his (pierced) nipple out - which by pierced, meant a huge, thick ring - and moved it around. If I wasn't feeling shaky and ill enough from the adrenaline, that pushed me over the edge. Hehe.
Anyway, I also agree about Elizabeth.

Like what? The only thing they can take notes from Elizabeth is her character development.
Her A.I was nothing special. I like how everyone is calling her revolutinary A.I character.
Did any of those people ever played Gears of War 3?
I know i shouldn't be comparing since they are completely different games.
Because i was far more impressed by A.I (especially your squad) in GOW3 then i was with Elizabeth.

I thought the AI was horrible this time around, in GOW: Judgment. I played co-op with my husband, and any time we tried to use a calculated, cautious approach, the other two just ran right out and got themselves killed. Every.freaking.time.

I think its more a matter that they didn't horribly screw up her character and make her annoying in gameplay. The fact that they didn't mess up the entire game by having an AI companion is in some ways good enough.
Yes, outside of story bits Elizabeth isn't terribly remarkable but she does do a lot of little things that can add up to something noteworthy. She has pretty good pathfinding and stays out of your way; she isn't a burden in combat or anytime really (no stupid escort missions); she has a ton of little idle animations and some nice comments; her fetching stuff for Booker is helpful; she often times will point out loot if you miss it and so on.
Yeah, none of that is revolutionary but I think its a credit to Irrational that they didn't horribly screw Elizabeth up from a gameplay POV. That's worth the praise that they're getting because I think it would have been easy to end up with a clunky AI sidekick who ends up being more annoying than anything else.
Watching some of the early gameplay videos and trailers though and its a little disappointing that they didn't do more with Elizabeth from a gameplay standpoint, like actually taking part in combat or things of that nature.

Story wise you probably could skip 2 and go right to Infinite if you wanted. Not that they're directly connected necessarily but you'll appreciate Infinite more if you've at least played Bioshock 1.
The Art of Bioshock Infinite book is pretty incredible too if you can get your hands on it. I remember in some interview Ken Levine mentioned they had about several games worth of cut content from Infinite and looking through the art book that seems to be the case. There is a ton of crazy stuff that they ended up not using.
I'd love to see a Post Mortem of Infinite since it seems like it went through a ton of iterations.

Okay, so on to the ending and the huge revelation that it dropped.
The ending made perfect sense. I don't know how people were confused. Perhaps its because I'm used to Doctor Who and timey wimey stuff but anyway,
ENDING SPOILERS INBOUND-
So, Booker DeWitt and Zachary Hale Comstock are the same person, just in different timelines.
Booker felt guilty after Wounded Knee so he decided to get a baptism. Thing is, in some timelines he refused it, in others he accepted it.
If Booker refused the baptism, he remains Booker DeWitt, has a child with a woman(who I assumed passed away), that child being Anna DeWitt(AD).
If Booker accepted the baptism, he becomes Zachary Hale Comstock, amassing wealth and eventually creating Columbia.
Now, in the ZHC timeline, apparently he becomes sterile, so he can't have a kid. Therefore, he has the Luteces help him kidnap his child from another timeline- Anna. In the process of the kidnapping, she loses the upper phalanx of her right pinkie finger.
After the kidnapping, he changes her name to Elizabeth. Thus, you have the timeline in which Columbia exists.
In Booker DeWitt's timeline, he feels extremely guilty about giving up his daughter Anna to fulfill his debt(even though he did try to get her back before the end). This caused him to sort of lose his mind a bit, where he began creating false memories to replace the ones he had. He also had the initials AD permanently put on his skin(his right hand). The initials standing for Anna DeWitt, his lost daughter.
Now then, in the ZHC timeline, Comstock tried to get the Luteces killed. They escaped and faked their deaths, and since they travel through time, went to Booker's timeline and created this "Go to Columbia and bring back the girl to wipe away the debt" story, and sent him to Columbia in ZHC's timeline to do just that.
Thus, Elizabeth is Booker's daughter. They just didn't know it till much later.
Anyway, even though Booker kills Comstock in the ZHC timeline, Comstock will still exist in the infinite amount of possible timelines that extend from the point of his "birth"- the baptism.
Thus, Elizabeth takes Booker to the baptism site, and along with the Elizabeths of several timelines, drowns Booker before he can make the choice to accept or not accept the baptism after he realizes that he and Comstock are the same person, just the result of different decisions.
Thus, Comstock is wiped from existence. As for Booker, the after credits scene shows Booker about to check on baby Anna, who I assume would still exist at that point.
So all in all,
GODDAMN IT THAT WAS FREAKING AWESOME
