Elisabeth is the best NPCs ever, every game designer should go play Bio:I and take some notes.

It's really sad that the game industry needed 9 freaking years to finally catch up with Alyx Vance.

Like what? The only thing they can take notes from Elizabeth is her character development.
Her A.I was nothing special. I like how everyone is calling her revolutinary A.I character.

Did any of those people ever played Gears of War 3?
I know i shouldn't be comparing since they are completely different games.
Because i was far more impressed by A.I (especially your squad) in GOW3 then i was with Elizabeth.

Did I say something about the AI? That's the point, a well designed NPC (its core mechanics) > complex AIs.

I will forever bring up Elizabeth as exactly what you want in an AI character.

Could someone explain to me why Elizabeth has her strange powers in the first place? That is one thing that the ending forgot to mention, or at least I didn't see it.

Apparently, since Elizabeth has a piece of her body in another universe she has her reality altering powers.

The ending does explain how Elizabeth came to receive her powers, though it is done in a very subtle way.

If you can recall, when you entered Monument Tower and saw Elizabeth gazing out from the library window, there was a Voxophone where Rosalinda Lutece states that a small part of Elizabeth remains from where she came from. She is indicating to that intance when Elizabeth lost her pinky finger which remained in "Booker's dimension". This resulted affected her and gave her the powers, b/c it resulted in Elizabeth existing in two realities at the same time. And as Rosalinda explained: "(...) It would seem the universe does not like its peas mixed with it's porridge."

Yeah, what's up with that. Shame on you, Prince! Nah, I jest as well.

And interesting to see the summaries between Bioshock 1 and Infinite. I did find some resemblances between Comstock / Ryan and Elizabeth / Little Sister, but not to that extent. Levine, you handsome devil!

Ah, I see! I remembered hearing that Voxophone, but not understanding anything from what she said. Now I do. Wow, really like when games hints on early stages to the answer. Thanks for the summary!

I found like 71/80 voxophones, I think.

Do they carry over between playthroughs? Do I have to find only 9 in my next one, or do I have to start over and try to find them all again?

Hmm, just re-watched the ending on Youtube and there are two questions that are still a mystery to me. Obvious spoiler below.

In the very last scene of the game, when Booker is about to be drowned by the several Elizabeths, I just now noticed that "our" Elizabeth is not wearing the bird / cage pendant that we gave to her earlier in the game. I thought Booker was referring to the other Elizabeth's when he said "Who are you?" but guess he ment it to her instead. Most curious.

Another one though more trivial, is how Booker doesn't sport the bandage in some scenes in the last minutes of the ending even when he had it before, and he has the AD mark on his left hand, specifically in the baptist scene. Either a small error by the devs, or it hints at something. And I was beginning to think I had the whole ending figured out.

I believe the Voxophones are all present in a new game, but you only need to find the last remaining 9 to get the achievement.

Ahh, alright I read ya. I missed like 9 voxophones and I think 9 kinetoscope things as well, hahaha.

Dunno, wasn't worried about it. With the hardest stuff out of the way already, I can replay the game on easy and go for any remaining stuff to increase my play time. Maybe.

Don't take my word for granted. That's only what I heard from someone else.

Think I'm gonna postpone my second playthrough and wait til they release one of the story based DLCs. Not that I wouldn't otherwise be able to play it through again, but I have other games to play and I'm not inclined to 'pump out' everything Infinite has to offer yet.

Yeah, same. For example, I beat my Roche playthrough of The Witcher 2, and decided to take a break before I started an Iorveth playthrough, which I really wanted to do.

I haven't even done that yet. Dunno where I'll place another playthrough of Bioshock Infinite, but for now I want to enjoy what I just experienced instead of pushing myself to play it again.

Saw it on YT as well and you are right! I hadn't noticed this myself! :o What could this hint at? A DLC perhance? Something that tells what happened to OUR Elizabeth?

I was going to pick the premium edition on PS3 but apparently the original BioShock on-disk promo is US only, so I either pay the same price for less content or pay 20€ more for the shipping plus the whole "these codes are not compatible with your european PSN account" drama...

I can't believe publishers keep doing bull**** like this in 2013, they just lost a second sale.

It sucks so hard knowing the ending and all the story details it contains without being able to discuss it with online buddies over XBL. Damn.

^ Nice. Is Mayhem available yet? I can't remember the release date on him. I still need to finish my Gaige pt, actually...

And it looks like I'll be waiting until after I get back from vacation to finish up the ending of Infinite. Waa.
