Now I'm really curious as to what the future DLC will... Vox focused, "other world" focused... are we allowed spoilers here or should I stick to the "ending discussion" thread?

Spoilers are definitely allowed, the game's been out for the better part of two weeks now.

Did anyone else get goosebumps when Liz took Booker to "Rapture"?

I wouldn't be surprised to see a DLC solely about Daisy.

Also, more content about Songbird seems like an obvious avenue.

Seeing Rapture was cool. I've only ever seen it while watching others play the previous Bioshock games;to see it again was pretty awesome.

As for DLCs and such, I hope they aren't Vox focused. I want more with Booker and Elizabeth.

And Songbird.

Found this on tumblr, this was one of my favourite aspects from the series, the little journals.

A Child Needs A Protector:

Image IPB

Found near the above image, in this voxophone Jeremiah Fink talks about how the tears had shown him something of a wonder. He says he saw an irreversible merger of man and machine — with the man part being just a little prevalent over the machine, meaning it can still feel — and he believes that Comstock could use this knowledge.

Sounds kind of like a Big Daddy, doesn’t it? Could Fink have seen into Rapture? We know from the end of the game that the tears give access to different worlds, and Elizabeth and Booker actually do end up in Rapture, so could Fink have been or seen it too? Did Songbird die where he was technically “born”?

It's certainly a possibility, and a good one. There are quite a few questions left up in the air, and the upcoming DLC may have a few of those answers. Hard to tell.

Did anyone else get goosebumps when Liz took Booker to "Rapture"?

I got it more around the time afterwords. My response to "rapture" was more like that.

Oh, I think its a certainty that Fink saw Big Daddies and used them as the inspiration for Songbird.

There's also a theory that Songbird might in fact be the first Booker that was sent. and that explains why Songbird is so obsessed with protecting Elizabeth. While true he is programmed to protect her, similar to a Big Daddy and Little Sister, a big Daddy has strong feelings towards their little sister and will do naything to protect them. This is the same case with Songbird.

I personlyl ike the theory because it adds even more to the Songbird and Elizabeth realonship and since it's clear Fink was imspired by the big daddies in Rapture along with other similar technology. Remeber him and his brother have been using tears for there own gain.

It's also implied he created the vigors by seeing plasmids in a tear (since both are extreamly similar, only diffrence is one is injected while the other is ingested)as he mentions in one of his recordings he's been watching a brilliant biologist he's observing through a tear who could be Brigid Tenenbaum.

I don't think Songbird is the very first Booker that was sent.

I just think of Songbird as...Songbird. I like it being a separate entity.

Well I think we can all at least agree that any future DLCs have to feature Booker and Elizabeth. I've grown too fond of both characters and I can't let them go!

Yeah, why not. I definitely want more Booker and Elizabeth, might as well throw the Luteces in there too.

And Songbird.

Hah, its starting to sound like we just want more Bioshock Infinite.

Ehh, I don't think there needs to be more Rapture. It'd ruin whats already there of it in the main game.

Less is more.

I agree. Rapture is sweet, but it would diminish the whole Rapture scene innthe ending, and I doubt there will be any post ending DLCs. As much as I would like to, I see no point.

I really hope there won't be any DLC for this game, as I'd rather have Ken Levine work on a new title - Perhaps a new IP altogether. BioShock 1 didn't need DLCs, neither does this game. As much as I love it, I feel like there isn't anything worth expanding on. Focus all manpower on a new game I say.

Well since they are already selling Season Passes to the game, at least three DLCs are inevitable.
