AC2 and Brotherhood and jacksh*t story. AC1 had a very good one, but was only impressive due to the 9 templars yyou were sent out to kill. Revelations was also very good, with the conspiracy regarding the sultans, but nothing overlly impresive. AC3 however, had a good focus on the American Revolution, the characters and the templars. So yeah, best AC game storywise.

Hence why I noted that he may have
mistaken her child (Anna) for her wife. And while there is no evidence
what Booker's wife name was, there are speculations that it was Lady
Comstock in his timeline.

*snip*

Wow, nice find! It kinda adds up now. Lady Comstock first name is Anna (why the heck would she otherwise have a name that starts with "A"?) and she had child with Booker. She died in childbirth, and Booker gave the baby the name Anna as a memory of his wife.

Now, Lady Comstock lives in "Comstock universe" b/c there isn't a childbirth to kill her. No wonder she and Elizabeth look a like. Yeah, it's subtle, but I'm pretty certain this is the case. God I love this game for these!

Just thought I'd share a couple of vids. Be warned, they contain spoilers:

I enjoyed TB's thoughts on the game. It seems like he does actually enjoy the game quite a bit too, but in this case I can see why he would want to talk about more aspects of the game other then how amazing it is. Bioshock is my favorite game in years but its kind of silly how some people get so upset at the suggestion the game may have flaws.

Errant signal came off as a bit ****y, but at least it wasn't mindless... He makes a lot of really good points.

I'm not very far into the game, but I'm loving it! I'm on my way to get the shock jockey now. :P I watched TB's video on it. I giggled a bit because he was half way through the game and still couldn't find a pair of boots... after that, I found two pairs. :P

Finished it a couple of days ago. Such a good game. I was pleasantly surprised, as I wasn't big on the original.

Gah! I can't get this game out of my head! It's been a week already and I simply can't stop thinking about it.

F*ck this! I'm replaying the game on 1999 mode, even though I said I would postpone that experience.

Pff, luck is for the ill-prepared. I'm entering with an arsenal of weapons and strategies!

Though we'll see how confident I am later on...

You are definitly not alone. I myself have been thinking about the game and its ending, and as well simply being hungry for more. I simply want my 3 DLCs now!

Nope the American Revolution was boring as **** and the characters where as bland as white bread and mayonnaise.

AC3 is easily the worst game in the series, pfft even the game mechanics where rubbish and tbh Desmond's part of the story was the most interesting part of the game and it turned out to be a waste of time.

Can you guys take the AC discussion to the AC3 thread or PMs and leave this one to Bioshock Infinite?

Just sayin.

Boring does not mean it's bad, it only means that YOU personally didn't like it. I think Roman history is boring, yet that doesn't mean that the Romans were "bad" or "stupid". And you saying that the characters were bland, I'm afraid to say that you then missed quite a lot on the character development of the characters. I bet you expected some like Ezio, who cracis jokes and flirts with girl, but that would never fit into AC3 (though there is a lot more to Ezio han that).

You say AC3 is the worst game in the series, yet you haven't thoroughly explained why, only stating "it's bad!" If you want to continue this discussion, post in the AC3 thread in the future.

Yeah, it sounded better in my head...

Anyhow, been playing a couple of hours on 1999 mode. Challenging, though nothing exceptionally ordinary as of yet. But admitedly, I am still quite on early stages of the game. Haven't met the first Handyman battle yet, but it is basically just around the corner. Gonna try to get the Heartbreaker simultaneously. Think I'm gonna use your strategy Prince, and snipe him from a far, if I'm lucky enough to find the spot.

Look for the logs? I think they were logs. Get on top of them, then back up a little.

I suspect it will be rather low :)

I'm no super shooter gamer but I'm not bad either. 1999 mode kicked me around for a while. I had to suck it up and make better use of plasmids and less running and gunning.

So after being distracted by AC2 for a few days I'm back on my 1999 playthrough. Any tips for the big battle in the good time club? My main issue is that I use up most of my ammo and salts during the first two waves so by the time I reach the wave with the machines I have pretty much nothing to fight them with.

Just learn to use your weapons and vigors better. Who knows, you might be able to survive with what you have. If not, pick up some weapons once yours are spent.

Sniper rifle, shotgun and possession. All will 1 shot weaker enemys if used correctly. Try and save most your salts until later though (3rd wave) if possible since I find I have to deal with the turrets quickly if I dont wanna be getting murdered horribly.

The first boy of silence fight was pretty funny for me in 1999 mode, ran out of salts and ammo with 3 enemies left and spent about 5 minutes running, and slowly wittling their health down with melee when possible lol.

I was wondering whether it's best to play BioShock 1 on the PC or the 360. Thoughts?

Preference, obviously the PC will look better, but other than that, if you're more comfortable with the mouse and keyboard setup, by all means, go for it.  I prefer my Xbox, since that's what I originally played it on and I'll stick with it.
