I started playing this today. Devil's Kiss is so far the best power.

Murder of crows is the best, any disagreeing opinion can go suck a crow.

Return to Sender was pretty handy, as was Bucking Bronco.

Hah, I hardly used it. I only played the game once on 99 mode but as far as vigors go I mainly used Bucking Bronco, Charge, and Undertow.

And hey, as far as "best power" goes, in my opinion its a fully upgraded Charge. Explosive damage+Brief invulnerablity after charging+Shotgun/Hand Cannon=Dead Siren in 10 seconds flat even on 99 mode.

I found Return to Sender to be particularly handy during the big fight on the Ship of the Prophet (or whatever it is called). It made that particular fight possible to win on Hard difficulty. Bucking Bronco, combined with the Hand Cannon is quite awesome as well.

Aye, Return to Sender is handy as hell on the last fight.

Looks interesting (persuaded by the dance scene). If I find it in my region I'll buy it.

Just finished the game a day ago. Great experience, enjoyed the story, atmosphere, music, gameplay, strategizing which weapons / vigors to invest in, etc. Controlling the crows was awesome, so maxed that power out first. And the Sky-Line was well done IMO, was an innovative and suprisingly easy-to-control way to travel.

***Spoilers Below (in case it's still too early to express them)***

One of the things that I *really* didn't like was the father / daughter dynamic reveal. I had been viewing Liz as a Romantic / LI character, with all the protection / rescuing, subtle gestures, questions about Booker's personal life (Like: "Are you married Mr. Dewitt?", "Have any Kids?", etc.). So the revelation that you're really her father creeped me out, not sure if I'll ever play it in the same light again. I mean I understand why it happened for storyline purposes, but why did the game have tease me so? Wish that twist could have been revealed a bit earlier in the game so it did have to hurt as much. I think on my next run I'll try to detach from the character of Booker rather than view him as an extension of my avatar. (Something I do quite often in the games I play.)

Anyway, something I was curious about regarding the ending / timeline: Did Comstock really "die" at that drowning? What I mean by that, was the Baptism really the correct event in time to prevent his creation? Because I was under the impression that Booker had those doubts and regrets ever since participating in the Wounded Knee massacre, and the massacre still "happened", right? So kinda expected that the battle should have been the past event to change, to prevent the roots from being planted in DeWitt's mind, enabling "Comstock's Birth".

The Baptism was the right place to kill Comstock, since the Baptism washes away all his doubts and regrets from the Massacre at Wounded Knee allowing him to be born again as Comstock.

That's what I thought anyway.

OK, so the Baptism is where the "evil persona" manifests itself as Comstock? What exactly triggers Booker to make his choice to go through with the Baptism or turn away from it? (Causing the two universes to "split" in such the manner.)

What triggers Booker to turn away from the Baptism is believing that being dunked in water won't "wash away" the guilt of what he did, and that he'd be better of just living with that guilt.

While going through with the Baptism is triggered by him believing that all his sins would be forgiven and that he'd never suffer from his guilt.

I get that each Booker has different reasons for picking between whether to go through with the Baptism or not.

From my understanding, there's still at least one reality where Booker and Anna supposedly live a "normal life" (as shown post-credits). So I'm asking what causes Booker to choose between Baptism or turning away from it for good in this "final reality"? (or whatever it should be called)

Since Booker still particpates in the Massacre (as all the Elizabeths killed him afterwards), doesn't the guilt and remorse still exist within him? And thus all those Multiverses where he chooses to go through with it or not still exist as well?

The Booker post-credit is the only Booker left, since the Comstock variable has been erased thanks to Liz drowning him in the baptism constant.
That Booker post-credit is also the Booker you play, same personality and regrets, in another universe, where he still has Anna with him because Comstock didn't take her from him (he never existed, as well as the Elizabeth we all love).

Now I just wish I knew what happened to the Luteces in the universe post-credit. What are they up to?

What do you mean by "only Booker left"? I'm not an MWI expert, but don't trillions upon trillions of Bookers and Universes still exist based on all the different possible choices he and people around him could make?

I guess I'm just confused as to why the Baptism is the constant, and not the Massacre itself. Isn't there still the possiblity that another Booker in another universe would find a way to become another Comstock because he still has all the battle's regrets?

I hope not that is the worst facial expression of mistrust ever, if anything I'd think she just saw something in the top right hand corner.

Completed this game about a few days ago. Loved it. Pretty much everything that I wanted ME3 to be. And unlike ME3, it did "Lots of Speculation" right. Reading all the numerous fan theories/elaborate charts of timelines has helped make this game even better for me.

Currently playing through 1999 mode. I got lucky and got the "Winter Shield" gear early. Makes any outdoor fight with grapple hooks or skylines a joke. You can even take out a handyman without taking any damage or using any ammo. I bet this'll get nerfed in an upcoming patch.

Yeah the shields can be exploited pretty easily. Having the one that comes up everytime you eat or recover health is absurdly useful.

You know, even though I personally thought Elizabeth was very pretty, I didn't even get a sniff of budding romance between them. The only time it surfaces even briefly is during the line you mentioned, and even then, Booker makes it pretty clear that he's not abiding such talk. Theirs is a strictly business relationship at first, which later migrates into a sort of fire-forged friendship (intermixed with the odd clue that they're father and daughter).

Rumor Patrol: ‘BioShock: Infinite’ DLC to Feature New A.I. Character

I'm going to make a random guess right now that it will feature Preston Downs assisted by that boy he crippled.

I noted on another forum that Preston's story thread never got resolved and he seems sufficiently badass to be the hero of his own story.
