Bad News: The first dlc is basically a horde mode and for all intents and purposes nothing but filler

As a certain character once said, "I never asked for this."

Haha, yeah, but I don't mind. I'm going to wait a while to pick up a PS4 as I need to upgrade my PC, so I may very well just pick it up on Steam. I'm glad they actually take their time on it though. This is the kind of DLC I'll pick up.

Little does she realize the water around Rapture is really gasoline and that she's tarring herself to death.

Poor alt-Liz.

Also, her red nail polish is really blood.

The New DLC is okay, at least it finally includes a gallery of Concept art, models, music, and videos.
The base game was lacking one IMO

Meh... I have already returned to Rapture twice in two full games. I'm not sure if I'm interested in another trip.

That's stuff you shouldn't have to pay for in addition to the base game.  /CDPRfan

In case anyone was wondering, the song in the Buried at Sea trailer is Johnny Mathis - Wonderful! Wonderful!

Ken Levine did phrase that the DLC would be "A loveletter to the fans", so I'd think a revist to Rapture is surely possible! [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/sideways.png[/smilie]

Well that could mean anything, but it is indeed the general belief that it could mean something Rapture related, which I personally am against. Sure, it would be very nostalgic and possibly seeing Rapture during it's "Utopian period" would be an intriguing idea, but I think Rapture has been explored already. We've had two games to experience Rapture as a city, its people and their views (objectivism / collectivism), and ultimately its legacy. What Infinite offered was more than enough, a nostalgic moment and one that wasn't out of place.

We've seen Rapture, and the upcoming DLCs should have a focus on Columbia, since there's a lot yet to explore and other features that haven't been explored fully.

Taking this opportunity to say; Called it! :D
Anyway, looking forward to the first episode -- The horde mode? Not so much

Except this isn't the same Rapture - It's the prewar-Rapture, the supposedly perfect Utopia where ideaologies of the world would be cast to the wind - It's intriguing to experience a Rapture that isn't infected with bat-**** insane drug addicts. The noir vibe is promising too :)

Yep, definately. I'd really like to see it before everyone went nuts. Perhaps well see the beginings of it's fall and the problems as the developed while accompanying Liz in this DLC

Hah.

The actions of Rapture-Liz and Rapture-Booker start the domino effect that leads to Rapture's descent into chaos.

It looks like they're doing what Arcane did with Dishonored, starting with a Horde Mode and then making two proper, story-based DLC packs.

Either way, count me in.

Rapture Elizabeth looks friggin awesome. I was a bit let down when I found out about the horde mode DLC, but the return to rapture looks pretty badass.
