Hello Dragon Age fans

This morning a title update on the Xbox 360 for Dragon Age: Origins was made available in preparation for the release of Return to Ostagar. This title update introduced a previously undetected issue that causes specialization classes to not work correctly in Dragon Age: Origins. We are removing Return to Ostagar from Xbox Live until the issue is resolved and are recommending that you do not download the title update.  If you have already performed the update, we apologize for this and are working hard to ensure a fix is available as soon as possible.

We will provide more information to you when it is available.

I was trying to download it as soon I check the forum afther comming home from college. Imagine my surprise when xbox live tells me than is an error and can't download the dcl. I was beggining to think it was because I am in Caracas, Venezuela.



I suppose I'll have to wait.

Thanks for the update Chris. I suppose you wouldn't be willing to answer whether the update was intended to go out today? But I suppose that doesn't really matter, just my own idle speculation heh. Any word on an updated ETA for the PC version?

As soon as possible? Is that like within the next 24 hours soon or quite possibly longer soon? I understand that this DLC just isn't going smoothly for you guys and I hope it does not discourage you for future content. At any rate, I'll be sitting tight and waiting because games like this are worth waiting for. Good luck on fixing the issue and I eagerly await it's resolve. Keep working gentleman and ladies, we love your game.

Understandable. Bugs happen. I'm not going to flame you guys for taking down an update that was obviously messed up. I was excited, and now I'm disappointed, but I'll live!

Thanks for letting us know so promptly, less than 2.5 hours for turnaround is pretty awesome.

Still looking forward, and I have my xbox points purchased!

One question though...are my classifications going to be messed up if I downloaded the title update on accident?

I feel sorry for the guys at BioWare... First an unexpected bug delaying the release of the DLC by several days (weeks?) and now this... Somebody at Microsoft gets too trigger happy.

Can you please just confirm if the PC version of the DLC is still scheduled to come out tonight or tomorrow, as per the IGN news article, and your earlier announcement here?



I got all stoked to play RtO when I got home, and now I'm once again facing a potential delay, and complete silence as to when I might actually get the chance to play this.

Will this hinder in anyway the release of the Pc version, as it was told in the previous post this bug affected only X360 users. Unless they discovered the bug on the Pc version as well, not to mention the PS3 version in which case we oculd see another delay.

Can you confirm if this only involve the X360 or all consoles?

Oh man... I actually suckered myself into getting the points for it also.

I told myself I was going to wait, I was right since the delay came in early January. Now I see a topic that its going to be released today and it isn't.

It was the DLC or Burger King and now I am sadly lacking a game and a Tendercrisp. Thanks alot Bioware.
