Live n learn experience regarding product lifespan planning vs implementation for our friends at Bioware. Everything that happens now will serve as experience and enrich future approaches, so if people have to rant about their frustration, I say let them.

It's also a good warm up for the Awakening threads. xD

You're saying that you've never been dissapointed in life? If not then you have been and are apparently an older wiser man now right?
Good for you, we don't need "I'm older so I get to go around telling youngsters that they need to get used to being dissapointed!"
I'm used to being dissapointed, yes. I still don't like it.
HARDLY I'm only 23 and have had some of the biggest "disappointments" you could have at this age and have not liked them... By youngsters I meant when people were younger they must have been spoiled to not know how to deal with disappointment. Liking it and DEALING with it are two completely different things...

You do realize that you're still getting the product, right? BioWare isn't stealing your money. You'll be able to download it when it's available. Consider it like ordering something from Amazon, but with free shipping.
Yes, I'm still getting the product, but when I order something from Amazon they tell me "you will receive the product in X business days".
They don't tell me "we'll give you further info on when you'll receive the product in the future, maybe". I'm sure you can see the difference.
At the moment we paid for a product and have nothing to show for it. Sure, we'll get it "in the future", but as paying customers, I would say we're entitled to a little more transparency on what that "future" will be.
there stand is thanks for your money you will get the product when you get it

dealing with it can be doen through voicing your opinion on the disappointment or complaing, whining, what ever. Who cares people have the right to complain this is our game, our money.

Not exactly. What i'd like is:
1: Is the problem only on Xbox?
a: Yes -> Communicate it, release on PC immediately. Don't delay the PS3 version further than what they initially planned. Release on Xbox when the problem is solved.
b: No -> Communicate it, delay all the releases, but give a reasonable timeframe.
I think I made the key word clear enough. At the moment they have my money, there isn't much that can be done about that part. But I don't think I'm being a "spoiled brat" for asking transparency and swift action where possible.

Lol. Now if that is delayed, with the amount of anticipation they are building, I expect the site to be hijicked and held hostage until release or something.

Anyone know where this is from on the forums?

You're looking rather short sighted at the situation if you think those two responses will not cause just as much if not more of a problem for pr.

I understand what you're saying. What I'm saying is that it's hard to communicate if you don't know what the problem is. Not to mention that even if they did know, developers tend to be pretty tight-lipped when it comes to this sort of thing.Abriael_CG wrote...

who's not dealing with it? The only way to not deal with it is to kill yourself, and I haven't seen any vids of people's open wrists pouring over a copy of DA:O. And for the record, I'm 25, I have my university degree, and cannot find work for the life of me. So don't talk to me about disappointment or about who is spoiled.tonydizzle wrote...

As it has been said already, greywardens.com copy pasted from a British IGN site, it being released tommorow morning is the same as them releasing it on the 13th for US/Canada seeing as Britain is 6 hours ahead of EST.
