oh really AlaskanHusky? then explain this http://dragonage.wik...turn_to_Ostagar

Shhh. Bioware says we cannot mention the PC leak. And preferably don't mention the botched xbox release.

You mean that thing that the pirates are enjoying already while the rest of us loyal customers wait on an xbox360 issue that prolly has nothing to do with the PC RTO? Ok let's not mention it then. Posted Image

Want a souvenir shirt for this forum? It says "This Holiday Season"

Not one person has requested one of these yet: http://s283.photobuc...nt=Untitled.jpg

You kind sir win the thread! Posted Image

You should put in extreme small letters behind the shirt "PS3 Coming later"

I'm thinking it would be good to put in small letters underneath for xbox 360 and PC. Then on the back put the dragon and then some small writing - PS3 coming whenever the **** we feel like it

Or, on the back just put this: http://pix.motivated...enchantment.jpg

Really guys RtO isn't worth all this stress, I have it for the 360 and completed it on nightmare mode in around 15 minutes and thats with reading all the codexes.

Wow thanks I really needed someone to play the game for me and then tell me what to think about!

You are truly a hero for taking it upon yourself to play the game for the rest of us!

Your rightous act shall be spoken of for generations!

Just saying theres no point getting all stressed about the release date for 15 minutes of gameplay that doesn't have any big decisions or plot.

it's not really even about playing the dlc for most people now I don't think. Xbox users want stuff fixed. ps3 users are sitting quietly in the corner. pc users just simply want it because they could get it illegally. And everyone just wants Bioware to be forthright with us about what is happening so we can maybe get some confidence back in them - which will be important with future releases.

Where can I go to get the PC version of this DLC? It doesn't show up on my in-game DLC list and I am having difficulty finding it elsewhere, ableit I have limited time to look right now. Thanks for any help provided!

NM...looks like certain game websites have their facts wrong as far as whether or not a certain DLC has been released or not yet.

I have to admit it's rather despressing to see the striking similarity between this thread and the old Bring Down The Sky DLC thread in the Mass Effect forums.

I'm not particularly happy about the delay either, but how does delaying a DLC and telling you 'we're working on it' translate into all this rhetoric about giving fans the middle finger, ignoring the fan base and, most bizarre of all, going to have an effect on Awakening?

It hasn't been confirmed, but I think it's fairly clear that Microsoft, for whatever reason, released the DLC while it was still being QA'd. All of this appears to be damage control. It sucks, I know, I'm not wanting to start my new playthrough until I have it. But what use is having a constant string of posts from Priestly or Melo or whoever saying 'we're still working on it'?

I guess given the multiple delays people want more than just 'we're working on it". If they posted this morning and said "we have worked our way through 20% of the code and found 2 or 3 things but we are going to check 100% to make sure there are no more issues so you won't see the dlc this week" I think 99.9% of people (maybe excluding those on xbox who had their spcs borked) would be relatively ok with that.

Really they should be focused on 1. getting the xbox working again. 2. getting the dlc released to all platforms. If it is ready on 1 then release it. 3. getting the pc memory leak fixed.

I hope this doesn't happen for all future DLC packages, it would be a shame wasting time on buggy code while in the meantime Bioware could better spend that time making more DLC.

I love the Dragon Age universe, so it would be cool if the DLC kept coming at a steady pace.

How about a press release explaining exactly what happened, how it happened, and what the official consequences are for anyone who downloaded the title update. I'm not even looking for a date on the fix, the DLC, or even an official temporary fix. I just want a concrete explanation so I don't have to piece it together for myself from posts by non-Bioware employees.

The only official statement I've seen states the title update was supposed to fix the achievement glitch and that the RTO DLC was released prematurely by accident.

So if the title update was ONLY supposed to fix an achievement glitch, how is it breaking specializations?

This is why I want the official story.

I would imagine that Bioware are bound by certain codes of conduct that forbid them from commenting on the actions of other companies they have dealings with. If Microsoft did screw up, whether that be because their software is pants or that their people made a boo-boo, I doubt Bioware can simply say 'Guys, look, we were still testing it and these idiots over at M$ jumped the gun - bear with us, we'll get it to you ASAP'.

I don't really mind waiting but the wording at http://www.bioware.com/ regarding Return to Ostagar should be changed to reflect that it isn't out yet and maybe a "coming soon" on the page it sends you to could avoid confusion. Its not the same dlc page either, seems to maybe be the launch one.

I wonder how such a thing like the broken xbox content could happen. Why did they gave the patch and DLC to Microsoft. When I consider the fact that the bug was known a short while after release of the xbox-DLC why it wasn't recognized before. Wasn't there a test before?
And if the bug is related to the patch why they don't release the PC version? Beside the fact that there could be a contract with Microsoft, that leads again to the thought that there wasn't a test.

Red tape could easily ensure we never get the full story so keep dreaming, besides which I would say you are in the minority of people whom want a full blow by blow account of what caused the fault. Besides ain't you ever heard of the term "poop happens"

I'm sorry and I'm not trying to be a jerk because I know everybody is trying to be really nice about it and understanding but really you guys need to get with it and take a serious look at your quality control because it's pretty obvious you have got some serious issues there. I'm just saying at this point I wouldnt even say anything else about the dlc or any updates until there both 100% and ready to go.

but others in the forum want them to be giving updates. No wonder they have no idea how to communicate with the community

Eh like its been beaten to death by both myself and Abriael its really in the best interest of support to at least give some form of dialog at this point. In the very least considering they've blown 3 dates already .Whats the sense in using the silent treatment at this point when it does more to annoy those of us who bought points expecting it to come out, oh what? 2 days ago now?

Continuing to blow dates wont do much to make them look good in the eyes of the games fan base either. It will eventually come down to either get it right or it's gonna make the company. And I also agree with the people who say it's not worth stressing over and your right it's not. But I dont think making your company look like it doesnt have the ability to release a patch or a dlc without having a continuous chain of screw ups is a bright idea either.

They figured they have no more ideas for DLC other than RTO and Awakening. So they going to release RTO + awakening over the course of 2 years. Anyone remember mass effect? It's a pattern!

I am guessing their pay got cut due to the RTO delay so they now can't afford internet at home.

So RTO is ready to go on PC and we are waiting because of 360 issues..

Correct me if I am wrong.
