Correct me if I am wrong.

That is the assumption. But there is no way we can say 100% for sure that it is the case.

Quiet here tonight......

Seeing as when they first discovered the xbox 360 bug they claimed the pc doesn't have this issue I think its to assume that they are either being very cautios or deliberately holding it back to insure a simultanious release. Seeing as the pc retail game was held back my assumption is on this being the case again.

As Mpredznz said, that is an assumption. We don't know this for sure and I doubt Bioware would admit it if it were true.

On the other hand, everything that we *have* been told indicated that the reason the DLC was pulled from 360 was a 360 problem. I believe Chris even mentioned that it wouldn't even appear on the PC version due to the lack of involvement of Live. So it does appear it was pulled from PC release because of a 360 issue, at least. But I'm not going to assume that.

Another day and night with no news. At this stage, I'm not really surprised anymore. Looks like at Bioware they think that all is well, that they did nothing wrong, and as such they don't really owe us any kind of information. Sad as it is, sometimes success brings an excess in confidence. I've seen this kind of attitude before, and in the long run it proved pretty disastrous. I can only hope this case won't go the same route.

It does sound throughly ironic that pirates are enjoying RtO with no issue, while the most loyal customers are here waiting without a word from the developer. At this rate, I'd say the theory of a "dark pact" with microsoft is the most solid one. While I'm glad that bioware didn't go (for now) as far as granting them exclusive DLCs, I truly wish software houses stopped to take their bribe money screwing up the rest of the gaming community.

Oh geez, I can hear the violins already. It is a weekend - they may well be on their days off. People are entitled to them, after all.

In reality, what have they done? Reacted to an unexpectedly early release, found a game-damaging bug and chose to reverse the release so that the bugs doesn't simply go out into the community. The lack of ETAs is annoying at worst, this idea that they've allowed fame to go to their heads or whatever is absurd.

yesterday was not a week end, and I wouldn't know, but normally in the case of extremely poor performance people sometimes do tend to give up a day off or two to make it up (or at least they should). And i would say that "extremely poor performance" is an euphemism in RtO's case.

This would be all right, if you didn't forget to mention that before then they failed to meet their dealine twice. That's, as I said, extremely poor performance in any professional field.
Maybe they got an agreement with polyphony to release RtO in bundle with Gran Turismo 5?

The normal procedure, if you do something wrong and therefore the work isn't finished, is to work overtime.

Though in this case, the most recent delay was caused by the XBox early release, not by the devs. If the Xbox RTO hadn't been released early, there would have been no need of a bug fix, and we might have RtO already.

So, I hope the RTO devs get to enjoy the weekend away from the office. I expect the rest of us can survive an RtO-less Saturday and Sunday.

Ermmm... not really. The fact that it was released one day early doesn't mean that the bug would have magically disappeared the day after....
