Some CS guys are legendary. The ones of my ISP are. They have never let me down. Even if I did stupid things like not paying a bill... I was disconnected on Friday and phoned them 5 minutes before the end of their working day. They understood that I couldn't pay in 5 minutes, so if I promised to pay on Monday they would connect me. 5 minutes later the line worked again.addiction21 wrote...

No offense to anyone but Bioware does not have "bad" CS or PR... I have dealt extensively with SoE in the past. now THEY are horrible. I am willing to let BioWare prove themselves before throwing them off the proverbial train.
I was just thinking. I have never known anyone to say x companys customer support was good when they were experiancing a problem.
Even when I was that CS guy and showed up to work on a friends system. Hell I showed up with a 6 pack and pizza.

So we can't discuss our points of view unless Bioware are there to read them? Get a grip
And re: pc v console - altso the ability to zoom out and have the birds eye view is handy.
@ mad bad dave again - just asking again in case you missed it - what level are the characters you are using and had they already allocated their specs?
I was under the impression you couldn't get the dlc without getting the title update anyway.
sorry mate, was away on my dinner pondering the existence of polar bears outside of the zoo....I had to start again as my only save was a finished game save and the new DLC doesn't unlock the end of the game. I had to start again with a new character. The DLC is available after you leave Lothering the first time..so I went there almost right away..very low level with no specialities at this point..hadn't exactly spent time levelling either because I wanted to see the DLC.

I'm sorry but this thread and others like it would tend to disagree with you. The Bioware team went missing after the 5th Jan debacle. They have pretty much gone missing again. I'm not blaming Chris, but SOMEONE should have come out with a statement yesterday. Even if it was an almost meaningless post. While I am sure there are lots of loyal customers, there will be any others who would have already given it away because they don't appear to have learned from the backlash they got last time.
Are they the worst? Nope. Have they damaged their reputation with their performance so far? Undoubtedly. The saving grace is that we have at least 2 other targets in EA and MS that are likely just as, if not more, responsible.
I wouldn't be surprised if Chris, or someone else from Bioware, wasn't screaming to give us an update and being told no. the simple point is they damaged the 360 user experience - and we aren't talking a simple glitch here - and they have made no comment in over 24 hours. Whatever way you look at it, that is not good communication and/or service.
And I agree with you there. Something could have or should have been posted. But you make a great point. Someone has to ALLOW someone else to do those things. I get it. I actually e-mailed the SoE head one time directly due to SoEs bs (and got a reply lol). The biggest problem with the entire thing is that we as the players have no clue who that 1st someone is. Who is the man behind the curtain? It would far easier if we all had someone to point the finger at but we don't. And because of that simple fact, we argue with each other, and a lot of people have claimed "ZOMG end of the world" scenarios.
wait. what. the world is ending. ****! I haven't completed all the origins stories yet

Oh ok. well as I understand it if you haven't reached level 7 yet on your character you will be fine. But, when you reach level 7 and get the first spec point, you will have issues. Maybe some 360 users (who haven't slit their wrists) can chime in and confirm that?
p.s. go to Churchill Manitoba. Polar Bear capital of the world

Oh I love the teats, don't get me wrong... Why do you think I have been married twice. But to insinuate I am a child or childish or child-like due to the fact I have had a level head during this.... fiasco is just plain ignorant.
Look, I didn't really have any reason to use the suckling on the teat comment - and to be fair everyone loves to. But you basically said there was no point talking because Bioware weren't going to provide us with an update. That, to me, is not a level headed comment because it insinuates we need them holding our hand.
Yes everything we say is pure speculation and we won't get anywhere by continuing to discuss it. But surely it shows Bioware that there is huge passion for this game in the community that we continue to discuss it even though we know they are not there to provide us with a glimmer of hope. And that is important to me, because if we show them how much we do care, then they can show the higher ups that we deserve to be treated a bit better.
or it will just show them they can do whatever they want and they will still retain a decent fan base....but I like to be optimistic..
Understood and Thank You. My original comments and any after have been geared more towards the people that just argue over redundant crap. I mean actually argue, not discuss. I obviously enjoy an intellectual conversation. At least I hope it is obvious. I did not mean that there was no point in talking about it. But for people to sit around for hours on end in this thread saying "OMG I HATZ BIOWAR!!1!!", or " They OWZ me MONEYZ!1!!" and other pointless statements related to that, grate on my nerves.
We won't figure out what really went wrong unless they tell us and I highly doubt they will. I am more or less biding my time untill I can think of something better to do with my Saturday morning.

They both were, but some of us had already paid for and downloaded the DLC before they pulled it.

The only reason I asked was because my b/f just got prompted for the title update and I was under the impression that it was pulled along with RTO. I will have to go sift through the millions of posts lol

The title update was pulled so he shouldn't be getting that. I don't remember another update for it. Are you sure it wasn't just a general Xbox update? I had one of those the other day I think.
If nothing else, clearing the cache will erase the title update.
