Once the cache is cleared: unlock one of the specs, doesn't matter which one, then save and exit the game. (May have to restart the X-box) When you go back into the game, all of them that you've unlocked should be unlocked again. It's weird, but it works.

Not to slander the good name, but if Canada/Bioware can bypass a holiday to fix DA.. I say go for it.

Let the game sit on the New Game, Load game, etc. screen for a minute or so before actually going into your save to play. For some reason it can't connect to the servers if you're doing anything at all besides letting it sit there.

I believe I did this. I cleared the cache it was the firs thing I saw on here, and then I unlocked dualist, saved restarted/rebooted and the specs are still locked out. I should try it again I suppose.

This dlc is an epic fail.....a lot of people already played and finished the leaked version.....xbox 360 owners had the chance to buy and play it for one day......probably when rto will be out bug free a lot of people will be no more interested in it...lol....

Anyone know if it still works if we have it downloaded already??? I never thought of that..is it likely it won't play now that it's no longer available for download?? when did they take it down??

I believe it was pulled down the later that day it was put up.  Other then that best of luck.

I hate adding another post to this thread, but I want to throw my voice in with the crowd chanting "Clear the Cache!"

I loaded a "camp" save, talked to Oghren and Alistair (unlocking Templar and Beserker), then exited and shut down.  

Then I restarted, loaded a separate character who just made it to Ostagar (the first time), and leveled up -- the previously locked specializations were all unlocked: Champion, Templary & Beserker (even though I obviously couldn't put a point in them at level 3).  I have yet to unlock Reaver, so it is obviously still locked for me.

Also, even though the DLC has been pulled from Live, I am still able to play it and use all of the items.

Obviously, this might not work for everyone, but it was a pretty simple fix for me.

Must be cool then, I was playing it on the 14th..the day after, so if it wasnt gonna work..it wouldnt have worked then. Simples.

Thanks Chris.  This update provides more details about the current state of RTO.  Are you aware of any plans to change the information on the "Game Add-Ons" tab for RtO to reflect that it is not yet available?  Such a change would be helpful for the many people who choose not to engage in the forum and who head to the website first.

Unfortunately if you'll notice that was posted more than 24 hours ago...and again..this is not appeasing the seething masses on this thread.....they want more...more more more ...ad nauseum

If they're having this much trouble with such a small dlc, I can only imagine the probs they're gonna have with the full blown expansion that's due this spring...er, summer....doh, fall.....holiday season!!!!

apart from the fact it isn't the dlc it is the title update.

I have Dragon Age on the 360 and downloaded RTO through the BioWare servers when it was put up by mistake, The DLC is ready to go as it is finished, the reason it's been held back is because of the patch that didn't work. And BioWare will NOT tell anyone what caused the patch to fail because it would only prove that it is there fault the patch failed! If any of you out there are confident with programming take a look at the coding for the patch they released! You'll see the reason why the patch failed!

It still works. I've got some of the loot in my inventory and some of it I'm using right now on a character that completed the DLC after it was pulled from the marketplace.

Is it possible that in nuked that character? It worked for me but on new characters. I just made a quick character and ran through Lothering and then hunted down as many specs as I could. saved shut down restart all fine. New characters after that all had the specs I managed to unlock.
