It's a non-spoiler section of the forums. Any answers you get will either be very vague or will break forum rules. That being said, it's a less than one hour long DLC. There are no large quests.

So I downloaded RtO when it appeared on xbox live the other day, but just skipped the update. Both of my characters have been fine (no locked specialisations or anything). They are level 17 and 20. So is the glitch just to do with the update, or the RtO download itself? Just wondering whether it's a time bomb, or I can just carry on as I didn't bother with the update.

The bug was part of the title update. So if you didn't update, you should be fine.

Thanks jennamarae. Guess I'm lucky to have skipped it then... just wanted to see the dlc and didn't want to wait for another download so hopefully my eagerness paid off... fingers crossed.

I plan to try the cache thing when I get home but I have got a question. I only had one character on my xbox as I deleted my previous ones to clear up memory space. I started my new character with no previous saves on DA and I swear the specs were still unlocked as I chose to use champion before I went to recliffe. So I'm not sure if I'm correct tht the specs are auto saved on there or I will have to unlock them naturally again? or am I going mad from dragon age withdrawal?

I believe I did this. I cleared the cache it was the firs thing I saw on here, and then I unlocked dualist, saved restarted/rebooted and the specs are still locked out. I should try it again I suppose.

Is it possible that in nuked that character? It worked for me but on new characters. I just made a quick character and ran through Lothering and then hunted down as many specs as I could. saved shut down restart all fine. New characters after that all had the specs I managed to unlock.

i was reaaaally hoping it wouldn't require me to use a new character since i'm  a fair ways in with this one atm.  bah.  i will know when i can get to a point where i can unlock another specialization i suppose.

i'm curious about the same thing.  i only have the one toon saved atm so i'm curious to know if it will actually work if you do all that and reload your toon.

i was almost positive i did this before the dualist spec unlock and things are still locked but now i'm questioning my own memory o_0
