can help on what?... neither version of RtO are available as well as the console patch. a patch was released on the 360 but got taken out because it would lock character specialisations. RtO was leaked on the 360 but was later pulled. to sum up, all pc, 360, and ps3 owners don't have RtO, we are all on the "same boat".

I'm holding my character just before finishing Ostagar because i heard in RTO that there is "a new way to aquire dog" and i want to see the new way instead of the not-so-random encounter

This too maybe. Each character gets their own save folder. Even for the quick saves so they are all seperate. So when you make a new character all their saves will be in their own place and will not interfere with the other characters you made. Also when go to load a save look at the choices and there should be a "switch to" button to switch between the characters.
