Another day gone by, no news to be found. Still waiting patiently, though I have to admit the feelings of excitement and anxiety over RTO have pretty much passed. I imagine relief will be the emotion that passes over me when we finally get a stable release. Oh well, I've started up a new playthrough of Fallout 3 in the meantime.

That's interesting and I REALLY wonder why they don't bother relaying that information here where upset fans such as myself might see it more easily.
People have complained that your followers don't say much in RtO and that the story felt flat because of it. Melo mentions that as maybe being a quality issue, and if they're adding something substantial like that to the DLC before release, then that makes perfect sense.

But why not tell us that more directly? And they still need to get their communications straight over at BioWare. This may have been a last minute decision, but it shouldn't be so last minute that you announce on your official forums that the DLC will be ready "today" when it won't be, hence puling in sales for nothing.

It's not avaialable yet.  I hear they may be planning a simultaneous release for the three platforms once the Xbox 360 issues have been fixed and the game is ready to be released there.

You're not really missing much anyways, the DLC isn't THAT good.  I think the best part about it is the boots that give you +20% chance to dodge all attacks, which combined with Evasion and Dark Passage (from Warden's Keep), my DPS rogue has like 50% chance to dodge all melee attacks.    But other than Cailan's armor, there's not much to it.

sigh, ME DLC was disappointing too. EA and Bioware should really look at Fallout for a clue about what makes great DLC.

@aejonknowles: Yes. Point Lookout was one of the coolest pieces of video gaming I've ever played. All developers should take a look at that as a how-to in impressing people with your DLC. It added so many nice little touches, a lot of them surprising and not at all what you'd expect in "just another DLC".

Please note that...it states has been delayed towards the end of January or close to it..something like that.

That would be really bad considering i would be playing ME2 by then..

I don't really see how they could expand upon it.  It really isn't THAT bad of a DLC, it's just very short, being completable between 20 minutes and an hour depending on how fast you go.  And it's (relatively) cheap, compared to most DLC.  Honestly it should be 200 MS Points, but you know they'd never make it that cheap.

A couple lines of dialogue from a couple characters can go a long way in making the story of it seem more substantial. If they indeed have added some compared to the version you played. We'll see.

Feraele, that interview was done before the current "It's available... no, it's not" event, and that estimate of end of January was purely conjecture on the part of the interviewer.

There is mention of the dlc being delayed......you might want to read that.

I saw this interview after they announced Awakening, then on the 13th they announced the release of RtO.  I was excited because I didn't expect it until the end of January (bit of a bummer because it clashed with ME2), then the sh#t hit the fan.

I am waiting patiently to play RtO - sure I'm frustrated just like everyone else, but to me its not the end of the world.  I'm actually more PO'd at the amount of spoilers that have littered the forums (not just the spoiler forums) since some people have been able to play the dlc, it does take some of the shine off it for me, I wanted to discover it all for myself.

There was a fair bit of banter between Allistair and Wynne (both of whom were in Ostagar at the beginning of the game), but I haven't really played through it with any of the other characters. My third ally was Morrigan the first time and Oghren the second, neither had anything to say. Come to think of it, I didn't see anything Dog related in the DLC, which is supposed to let you recruit Dog if you missed him, but then again, I already had him, so... \\o/

Mods don't actually work for Bioware...they are just those who keep the forums safe for little children to play in..>.> They know as much as we do...and are probably as fustrated as us...they just don't show it.
