This holiday season is not a release date.
Of course it is.
Jan 5 is still part of the holiday season.
Not really.
Jan 13 it was never supposed to be released but lo and behold MS ****s up and releases it forcing Bioware's hand UNTIL they realise there are some major issues with it somewhere.
January the 13th they specified "it's released later today", so yes, another release date missed. One, two, three. Good job.
So they specified 1 date which they missed. Oh no....
Three. Funny how some still try to spin it to make it look less serious than it is, expecially after the absolute lack of communication. Fanboyism has no limits

I don't blame xbox, i blame Microsoft. Your suspicions are probably right.MprezdNZ wrote...
but given that the dlc has been out there for illegal download for almost 2 weeks now, they would know that there is basically no issue with the pc version. It is blatantly obvious they have held it back from pc users because of the console/s (I really think it is just xbox). it was being held until the xbox version was ready - so technically they COULD have released it. If the xbox release hadn't been leaked they wouldn't have been forced to tell pc users they were getting it

Not that wikipedia is the be-all and end-all authority, but I thought I'd point out that early January is generally accepted as part of the holiday season (i.e. Jan 5th). It's semantics, sure, but we're all waxing nitpicky in here so... yeah. I don't really have anything to add.

Actually the "holiday season" for the gaming market starts with thanksgiving and ends on christmas, so no, not really

Edit: Pardon me if I sound incredulous, but this is news to me. In the end, however, it's all moot because whether you consider January 5th the holiday season or not they still missed wide. Whether you count that date as the first or second miss is, I suppose, up to the individual. I tend toward the former, but to each their own.

Hmm.
Enjoy your Sunday, tomorrow. Go out, get some air, get some lunch, watch a movie, spend some time with people... or, if it is too cold to do that, read a comic... *ahem*...
BioWare is experiencing some difficulties. Please be patient with them. I mean, it could be worse... what if they just never released RtO and then dropped the Awakening project? I mean, with ME2 on the horizon, DA:O could just... waft away, and then all the energy poured into the forums would be for naught...
Have faith they will fix it. Good things come to those who wait.

Probably just men. You know we men can not do two things at the same time.
