The latest rumors are Disney is very interested in EA. Which I also think would be pretty catastrophic were it to end up happening.

It's not as catastrophic as it seems. Disney has their tendrils in many fields that don't really pertain to entertainment for children. They are a business like any other, and would probably just let EA continue to work like they always did.

It would probably be good actually, because with Disney's deep pockets behind them, EA would have no need to accept Microsoft's bribe money anymore.

This is true. Disney does what every other company does: they start a new company that is owned by them that isn't attached to the name. I don't remember the name of it, but I know there is a company owned by disney that produces porn. If Disney did take over EA Bioware would probably keep its current name and make the same games.

The only game that would probably be affected directly would be the Sims, but that could actually be pretty fun if you think about it.

Actually EA owning EA is nightmarish in itself, I don't think any other can screw EA up more in terms of Greed, selfabsorbedness, non-existent conumerservice etc etc...
EA is the MS of the gamesindustry already... Albeit not as powerful yet *thank GOD*

Now think EA buying up or merging with Activision Blizzard and the true monster with "666" stamped in the forehead will have been born!
MS can't do sheit that EA/ and Activision can't do "better" themselves....
Well... They COULD force ALL games used GFWL ofcourse while still never fixing the piece of ****... There IS that ofcourse... Think DA:O with the EA/Bioware accountmerge and add to it GFWL...

With Me2 so close, I'm just gonna play some Borderlands and wait for the GotY edition of Dragon Age now, I think.

I have to say tho, I love this game. It was THE reason i purchased the Xbox.

Not trying to start a pc v console war but why would you buy an xbox just for this game when you could have done a couple of updates to your pc to play this?

Do people not get fed up posting this ****e?  As long as you can play it on the platform of your choice why does it matter how others choose to play the game?

It was a genuine question to one person regarding why they would specifically buy a console for ONE game. And this particular game. The person who I asked the question of answered. I don't believe they were offended by it. So basically, **** off

I wonder how much less the RtO DLC will sell if they cannot get it out before the ME2 release.
Once ME2 is out I doubt I will come back to DA:O for a bit.
I keep hearing Borderlands is fun...might have to check that out too.

Once its finally out ..it will be ready and waiting for whenever you are good and ready to experience it..think of it that way. :)

Even if I suddenly get bored and go play something else, I KNOW that whats been produced will still be there.

Which is totally different than continually saying the DLC is Teh Brokenz! like you keep doing. Odd that. - end quote..

I haven't said that for awhile now...matter of fact it was Jenna that explained things to me..instead of throwing jibes at me like you do. Information works much better.

What you choose to take out of someone's post is your choice. I said the same thing about 60 or so pages back.

Ever thought that perhaps the reason I don't tend to listen to you..is the attitude you project at me?   Just might be.

It goes both ways Fera, if you weren't so overly forgiving of paid professionals continually missing release dates we'd prolly get along just fine. Posted Image

I tend to be a forgiving person in real life..thats how I am, if that pees people off..its not meant to. :)

I prefer to set people to the torch that make mistakes and then fail to live up to my lofty unwavering standards no matter what the circumstances are because I just do no give a **** about why or what is going on but that I did not get felated by the customer service department.

Forgive and forget because the world is not perfect and neither are the animals on it. Yes even paid professionals can screw the proverbial pooch ever once and a while. At this point I doubt anything including full disclosure would change anyones mind about the whole situation.

For me the true measure will be what they learn from this fiasco and how things are handled in the future.

I got the dlc for xbox before it was taken off the maket, and I personally thought it was well worth it. It is somewhat short, but it has a storyline which is fairly good. The items within it are also pretty good so I would say it is worth the points or money.

I tend to think of Dev teams as humans..fallible..able to make mistakes and learn from them. :)

My way of thinking I guess doesn't fit in with the gamer auto-hostility that happens when something breaks.

Oh well. :)  Good thing I have confidence in myself...isn't it? :)

Having played through it, I'd definately say that Return to Ostagar is worth the $5 it costs. It may not have the utility of Warden's Keep, and I do wish that the grounds of Ostagar had been even more overrun by darkspawn than they were (bring on the hordes! my team can take it!), but the codex entries, items, Allistair-Wynne conversation, and the completion of King Cailin's tale all add great value to the overall game.

Y'know, ignoring the specialization breaking title update bug. :-)
