They should seriously revert it back because it looks like crap on a black background. I was hoping they'd change the availability date, too. Seems like they should at least just -not- list one considering the circumstances.

Well, he had plenty of birthday money to get it. But the tantrum started cause I wouldn't let him pick it up, until my aunt got there. Whew! At this point that doesn't seem like too far of a stretch, lol. Seriously though, I'd be happy with a TBA rather than keeping the old release window up. If I were a DAO fan that didn't keep up on the forums this would be confusing to me. I love Bioware to death but their fan communication recently has left something to be desired, to put it mildly.

Well this convo just got interesting. Tell me more of this leg shaving stuff ;-) And beard stroking, no, I don't think they do that. I just think they are lying as the old saying goes in a case of CYA. Which is fine in a way cause it's done so frequently by everyone, but it doesn't change the fact I don't like being lied to and feel that's what this is.

The reason there are consoles is to make it easier for the programmers and to make more money for Sony, M$ and Nintendo. You can't update the hardware (legally without  ruining your  warrantee) of a console but you can update the hardware of your computer/PC. Think about it: what happens if you want to put in a bigger hard drive in an Xbox 360 or a PS3? ever think about it? But with a PC it's easy as ABC. Want to update the video hardware on a console???? Forget about it!!! Might have to buy a new PS4 or an Xbox 370.

omg when r they gonna release RTO pc version?!?!?! every singel day i am checking for the download (sins i bought and paid for the points back at the 5 of jan, when they SAID it would be comming out) cause i am starting to get alittle freakt hearing that the xbox version etc all rdy have gotten theres.....grrrrr....bio releas it all rdy

what im wondering if it was the update that was the problem y didnt they just pull that and leave rto and put the pc and ps3 out and then put the update out later when it was fixed so what if u didnt get the achivement the 1st time through its not like your not going to have to replay it anyways after u have beat the game to get other achivements cause of the choice makeing thing

While I am also a PC gamer(a large reason I won't get a 360) I also have a PS3 and you CAN easily upgrade the HDD on it.  Just go buy a laptop 2.5" SATA HDD and put it in.  My 320GB HDD cost me less than the separate 120GB HDD that MS sells for 360.

That said, it is very nice to upgrade my PC for $100-$200 rather than spending $300+ on a console + Accessories.

Back on topic, any word on the PC or PS3 versions of RTO?

The mere thought of getting any information seems to escape the thought process over at BIOWARE, and I have to say any thoughts of getting The Old Republic keep dwindling as I see how well their customer support is. It's amazing how ridiculously long these RtO threads have gotten. There's more pages to this than Awakening. Sad.

So if those of us unlucky enough to have paid for and downloaded the return to ostagar pack or essentially out of luck a friend told me to delete the return to ostagar pack off my 360 and i did. So as with other users i am sure i cannot use any specializations and i am unable to get achievements. So is there going to be a patch that will fix this or do i have to delete the game completely off my 360 and lose my blood dragon armor and everything else that i have.

you gotta go to your xbox hard drive system>memory and press Y (clear cashe) then recover your gamertag at the sign in screen. Sign in a character with any specialization unlocked. AND BAAAAAM your games back to normal. I just did RTO on my 360 everything is now working as intended.

so by clearing my cashe will i lose my blood dragon armor, stone prisoner and such? or will i still have them.

The cache clear deletes out any/all game updates, but not DLC stuff. So if you have updates for other games installed, that will get lost as well.

AH but do you also know that by using the usb port with a new HD you also disable the built-in HD? Check it out. It is NOT as pure as it seems.
