Wow, trying to find out what's going on or atleast when the dlc will be available is like trying to wade through the horde. So, just tuning in and not wanting to read 137 pages of justified anger, no date yet?

No doubts on that one Benzil, but I'm personally of the opinion that you get what you pay for and for $5 15 min to an hour of extra time in Ferelden seems worth it to me.  Nay sayers will of course flame the bejebus out of it, but, good folk are always there to save me from having to read it all anyway. 

Well i personally couldnt care however long it will be, im just happy for more lore, the story is what makes this game amazing, and the gameplay ofc

OFC?  More lore would definitely be a plus.  You are right the story is the focus and the compulsion.  Gods, my girl is actually upstairs playing it on my 360 because the story sucked her in.  Gotta love gamer-chicks!

You're right! I think this is going to be the biggest anti-climax ever! Bioware should just never have mentioned this DLC at all and then one day, when it was all finished they could just say "hey guys, we got a surprise for you!" and then everyone would have been really happy even though it was really short because they weren't expecting it and hadn't built it up and blew it up out of all proportion!

Well, considering how mush pages have been added since the day this thread was posted, I don't see this venting ending anytime soon.  The only time they'll shut em up is when RtO is actually released.

I, myself, am waiting patiently.  I'm taking this opportunity to play through Mass Effect & play WoW as well.  I even stopped my current DA:O game at the point where all allies have been recruited.  and I'm not gonna play it again until RtO actually comes out.  And I will wait, venting never makes anything happen sooner.

Don't let the anticpation get to you, Cream_Poof.  Remember it's only dlc, Awakenings, however, is a whole other ball of wax.

I'm just chuffed that i got into this game so near a new expansion release date. and frankly i wouldn't mind if that got delayed too, its not like this is the only game ever or ever to be. people shouldn't get so worked up about such a trivial thing, taking a step back and looking at what you're actually saying could scare you.



Also dunno who that was aimed at i just type things when im bored watching telly.

This all makes me shudder to think how bad it's going to be with SW:TOR. I mean seriously, they can't handle putting out a not-even-an-hour installment of DLC, and along the way they manage to release a bug-infested piece of s*** title update (yep 360 user here) that breaks the game for however much of their audience is on the 360...and no meaningful updates about fixing said bug-infested piece of s*** for going on 4 days (which is, by any measure, an unacceptable level of support).



...and these people think they're going to pull off an MMO?! Really?!?!

Fine according to who? The few that would actualy say anything? And those few have done everything possible inside RtO to support their claims that it is perfect? Not all bugs jump out and slap you in the face. MANY involve doing certain things first. Of course that is if the "issue" was a bug and that the bug actauly took place in the confines of RtO.

FYI when implenting new software into exsisting software it is very unwise to just look at and test the new software and ignore what is allready there.

And no you seem to thoroughly enjoy beating the dead horse into pulp. It is about the only thing  you have done.
