As I mentioned in my own thread the DLC achievement isn't working once you complete RTO, many others are having this problem as well (those who were able to download the DLC before it was removed).

I heard someone telling me to remove the updated information or to clean out the "cache". I don't know how to do this on my Xbox so if someone could enlighten me on this subject it would be greatly appriciated. (Apparently, cleaning the cache will allow the achievement to work) Also, I've been trough all the menus, but as I mentioned, I can't seem to find out how to clean it out.

They may be working on building a life size replica of the mako  or whatever boring implement they'll use on Mass Effect 2 as a time sink, for all we know. If they don't deign to tell us, the responsibility is on their field. It's not like communication is going to make them "waste time" since they have employees that do just that.

Um, its the same point Abriael and I have been making for awhile now, take the blinders off and drop the fanboyism and maybe you might finally "get it". Just because you feel Bioware can do no wrong and critisism shouldn't happen doesn't make it so. Image IPB

Yes its their responsibility to tell us when they are good and ready to tell us, AND when there's something pertinent to tell.

Whats wrong with wanting to know why RTO is being held back?

Whats wrong with not wanting toi tell you? Why should they waste their time giving details of what they are doing to the general public? Why is it any of your business? When it's done they will release it and you can buy it or not as you choose. This whole "right to know" thing is total BS - it's broke they are fixing it - get over it or go away and play something else if the wait is more than you can bear. It's a freaking five dollar add- on to a game not the cure for cancer we are talking about here - Image IPB

Would you make the same kind of stink to Coca Cola if the local 7-11 ran out one day and they weren't sure when the next shipment would arrive or McDonalds canceled their new salad becuase they didn't get the dressing delivered on time for the grand opening? Get a grip people...it's not the end of the world and Bioware is not the evil incarnate.

I take it you've played it on your 360 then?

I've got it on the 360 and i can assure you that the content within RTO really doesn't justify people getting their Daisy Dukes in a twist.  The way this thread has evolved i can only come to the conclusion that many, many people are going to be disappointed.  I'm not saying RTO is bad, what i am saying though, is it's very light on content and apart from wanting the weapons again, you're not going to play it a second time for the story, that's for sure.

Seriously, RTO isn't worth losing sleep over.

You, like many others, have missed the point.

We are not annoyed about RtO. We are annoyed with the unprofessionalism and lack of communication from BioWare. They are a highly rated professional company, so why are they acting in such an amateur-like manner? Quite a few of us PC gamers (and some 360 ones) have placed money down in anticipation because BioWare gave us a release date. I'd suspect BioWare Points purchasing rocketed on the 4th of Jan, or maybe that week at least. We were there ready on the 5th of Jan until BioWare turned around and delayed it, right at the very last minute. We were given no indication as to when we'd be able to get it until the next week, when BioWare delayed the content AGAIN, but this time without even so much as a "Sorry PC gamers, we've delayed RtO".

This could be over Awakening, Mass Effect 2, RtO, Stone Prisoner, TOR... Anything. It just so happens that RtO is the 'cause'.

I'm missing no point tbh. Show me any devs that give out a constant stream of communication, please do.  Be thankful they take the time out to communicate with us in the first place as there's devs out there that simply ignore their fan base and release updates when they're ready without giving the fans an iota of info beforehand.

Sometimes i do wonder why devs even bother to have forums, because lets behonest, more often than not they've got a huge section of whiners that like nothing other to throw their toys out the pram when their needs aren't pandered to.  Yeah everybody has their own reason for whinging and it's as valid as the next person's concerns, but take a look at the amount of muppets making assumptions and taking hissy fits becasue they're not getting an hour by hour account of what's happening.

The issues are being fixed ffs, what more do people need to know?  Aye, lets release some broken code, huh? Then the same whiners will be on telling all n sundry how shabby the product is.  Damned if you don't, damned if you do.

I realize you like to lean on your labels..but that doesn't work on me...why are you repeatedly..both you and Abrieal ..the same ones every day that  say the same things over and over...after we've already discussed the issue between us and people in the thread?

Its not at all about "fanboyism" its about common sense and putting things into perspective, getting rid of your sense of entitlement..and having some danged patience.

The fact that it has no effect doesn't make it better, quite the contrary, it makes the situation reek of lack of professionalism much more.

Common sense would involve realizing what actually broke specializations on the 360, yet it seems no matter how many first hand reports you read explaining that, you refuse to believe it and continue to go on and on and on about trying to shut people up about expecting a little professionalism and communication.

So using logic and common sense we can deduct from user reports that the DLC works as intended on the 360 without the pulled broken title update, using the same logic and common sense from reports from those who have played it on the pc we can duduct the same thing, that low and behold the DLC works as intended. You somehow are stuck on this silly notion that if its not from a Bioware employee however that its not true and just a conspiracy theory.

I'm sure you've heard the old saying "if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck it's prolly a duck"  replace duck with fanboy and well you get the idea. Image IPB

I am not saying they are clueless..I am saying its not part of the goal at this point to tell us.   Whatever is going on behind the scenes I would imagine...doesn't concern us.

We don't need a blow by blow update...I'm sure they'll eventually give a recap of the items that might enlighten us..probably around the same time the re-release happens.

I don't expect anything else frankly.

Why thank you Abrieal...:D  lol  But when I'm here I usually attempt in some small way to help, I don't sit on this thread and rabble rouse like you two.  right? :)

And that's exactly where the problem is, and what reeks badly of lack of professionalism.

Whatever is going on behind the scenes I would imagine...doesn't concern us.

It sure concerns me since i've been encouraged, and at some point even misled to pay for a product I still don't have.
Commercial choices come with responsibility. The choice to encourage customers to "invest" by paying for a product beforehand comes with the responsibility of communcation.

Again, it's basic commercial ethics.
