Title Update, Specialization issue and Return to Ostagar Update

I'm fighting the urge to respond to some posts by rehashing how BioWare has been a little business-unethical in all this. Already done that enough I guess. I will say that I don't need "assumptions" and "speculation" to be upset with how BioWare has treated me as a customer. That's a bit of nonsense.
I guess I just wanted to say I approve of the hostility of this thread whole-heartedly. If BioWare wants this to be a nice thread of information, well, they screwed it up. Not the fans who've been a bit duped in buying BioWare points due to other threads just like this. Quite simply, there is nothing here to talk about for us PC users except to remember how we were told of a product's availability on the same day as its delay, and how that amateurish display has resulted in us having to come back here time and time again to see if there's news on our money ever being good for anything. But all we got is this thread with Chris's posts growing moldier and moldier and all the more ironic.
No news, so we complain. It's only natural, and is the least BioWare deserves. What worries me is no one in the company is complaining. If the company has the same attitude towards its employees as some of the fanpeople here do, then this company is going to go downhill.
If BioWare wants a MMORPG, they better realize that their style of management as it currently stands is only going to make them a laughing stock. If they can't handle this community without coming off as overly complacent, what're they going to do against mobs of ex-WoWers?

And you do realise that as the community manager Chris could well have been relaying information back to the dev team and asking for an update. And they could well be telling him that they are working on it. And if he came back and repeated those words all it would achieve would be to further enrage people into asking 3 million more questions about why he couldn't give us something more than that. So more important matters could be trying to actually find out information for us.
No one ever said community management was an easy job. If it was, everyone would do it (and it wouldn't be one of the professions most liable to layoffs in the whole gaming industry).
And there are plenty of customers here who aren't ****ing like you are. Maybe they are hoping to weed customers like you out?
LOL. Yeah sure, a software house trying to "weed customers out", now that'd be a sight.
I can pretty much assure you that the least useful entity to a software house are the fanboys, not the ones that post criticism.
I don't see where you were hired to enforce the rules of netiquette either. No one up until this point has complained, so again all I see is you tying to puff your chest out for a bit more self-importance
Where have I been enforcing anything? I do remember writing "please" learn to quote. You're entirely free to be rude if you feel like. As much as I'm free to consider you so. Sorry if this makes you feel bad in your sense of entitlement to do whatever the hell crosses your mind.

to be honest I think the biggest problem for 360 users in a scenario like this is that even IF they have a patch done for it, it will need to go through certification. And you could probably guarantee MS will be looking at it very closely to ensure that there is not another issue.
That is completely understandable, in fact, I want them to take all the time they need to ensure that there aren't any more problems.
What I have a slight problem with is that I have no idea when it will be fixed, or IF it will be fixed. I wouldn't even care when it is at this point, as long as there was some sort of real reassurance that there is a solution in the works.
Heck, give me even the name of the month in which it should be fixed and I'll feel better

I've gone back and fixed all the things I didn't like about my six characters and their relationships with companions, gear I discovered on later plays that would have been nice on earlier characters... I'm just about out of reasons to play.
I need DLC info today, please!

The "I am posting criticisms so it gives me the right to drone on and on and on and insult anyone that disagrees with me" is a pathetic arguement.
What you are doing is not being constructive but stating your opinion (repeadetly) and attacking any person that does not agree with you.

You sadly can not, until the issue has been resolved. At this time, 360 users and Achievement ****s abound will be unable to obtain specialization based achievements or increase skills and such till a fix has been released. A work-around is present that involves using saves prior to choosing a specialization and removing the patch from your 360's catch. But in most cases this may be too extreme of a measure as you may loose countless hours of game play time. However should you desire to take the extreme and can not wait for a fix. This thread as well as the 360 technical support threads both list the work around process. (The 360 support area may be easier to navigate.)

Insult? That's an interesting statement. I'd love to see you quote such terrible "insults" lol.
True that fanboys normally find logic insulting, but....
Actually i see a cute trend to rely on insult from the ones that defend bioware "a l'outrance". Yanno, people are daring to criticize the sacred bioware! Pick up the pitchforks and torches! Heretics!
As for the right to "drone". I'm sorry but I have to point out that everyone has the right to "drone" here, including (unfortunately) the ones continuing to post over and over "please bioware, make us wait moar! Please tell us nothing! We love to be in the dark and not to know when our money will net us the product we pay for!
Which is the most damaging attitude when dealing with a software house that is getting a tad complacent.

The title update broke several things. You need to clear your cache to remove it. To do so go to System Settings -> Memory. Press Y. If you see an option that says "Clear system cache", choose it. If not, press X, X, LB, RB, X, X. That fixes the specialization bug introduced by the title update and should clear up any other problems it has caused that weren't in existence before it was unleashed upon our Xbox's.
Edit: Forgot to say you might have to unlock a specialization, save and exit the game, and then restart it to unlock everything you had unlocked before.

Your post is woefully incorrect. Removing the title update by clearing the cache doesn't require you to lose any gameplay. At most you have to load an earlier save to unlock a single specialization, save and exit the game, and then restart it to have all of them unlocked that were unlocked before the title update.

Just remember that users are still posting save game corruptions on the Xbox 360 after removing the patch, so if you can backup saves on a memory card or such prior to doing this... its recomended. Otherwise as previously stated, you may lose countless hours of game time should you have to rollback to a older game save.

As some one who suffered the 360 save corruption error, I think I may know a little bit about it. Luckily in my case, I had a double save from the auto save feature that was only delayed by 12 minutes. Others however, have not been so lucky. Backing up your files is always recomended when using work -arounds.
