Isn't it nearly a month now since it was supposed to come out?

The "I am posting criticisms so it gives me the right to drone on and on and on and insult anyone that disagrees with me" is a pathetic arguement.
What you are doing is not being constructive but stating your opinion (repeadetly) and attacking any person that does not agree with you.

And if that was true I would of just called him a troll and moved on. I did not so try again.

You sadly can not, until the issue has been resolved. At this time, 360 users and Achievement ****s abound will be unable to obtain specialization based achievements or increase skills and such till a fix has been released. A work-around is present that involves using saves prior to choosing a specialization and removing the patch from your 360's catch. But in most cases this may be too extreme of a measure as you may loose countless hours of game play time. However should you desire to take the extreme and can not wait for a fix. This thread as well as the 360 technical support threads both list the work around process. (The 360 support area may be easier to navigate.)

Your post is woefully incorrect. Removing the title update by clearing the cache doesn't require you to lose any gameplay. At most you have to load an earlier save to unlock a single specialization, save and exit the game, and then restart it to have all of them unlocked that were unlocked before the title update.

You can unlock the specialization without saving at all I tested tis myself this weekend

As long as you remember your username and password you shouldn't have any problems signing into your account from a "different" computer.

Just remember that users are still posting save game corruptions on the Xbox 360 after removing the patch, so if you can backup saves on a memory card or such prior to doing this... its recomended.  Otherwise as previously stated, you may lose countless hours of game time should you have to rollback to a older game save.

That existed prior to the title update and is a completely different matter. I would know, it happened to me and I lost 20 hours.

As some one who suffered the 360 save corruption error, I think I may know a little bit about it.  Luckily in my case, I had a double save from the auto save feature that was only delayed by 12 minutes.  Others however, have not been so lucky.  Backing up your files is always recomended when using work -arounds.

As do I. It's not possible to back up save files on the Xbox that I'm aware of.

Heh, you think this is the biggest fail on a content release?  Psh... Have you ever dealt with EvE online, Sony Online products, or some of the early release valve products?  Hell valve alone has put the release of episode three on an almost two year delay.  Then toss in companies like Blizzard that almost always miss their release dates, and you can easily see this... is simply a spec of sand in a desert.  If anyone really is thinking this is the "Epic Fail" of all DLC delays... they probably haven't been buying games for very long... and surely aren't a PC gamer.  The reason this is hurting anyone is because Dragon Age is a great game, and we find ourselves wanting more.  So take a breather keep an eye on the forums and relax.  They will get the stuff done soon, and you'll be able to spend your two and a half hours playing it before coming to the forums and complaining about the expansions delays...

It is possible, a bit of a pain though I admit.  It requires you to have a memory card.  Its similar to dumping the cache.  The button code can be found on the official Xbox live website.  However it is profile linked, so don't get any crazy ideas about giving your save files to your buddies.

Hmm, I'm not sure the specialization unlock is a guarantee work. Meaning the trick of unlocking one, then exiting etc. At least it didn't for me. I had to unlock them all 1 at a time. But I've done enough characters and had enough saves I was able to unlock all but 2 (Spirit Healer/Ranger) within minutes. For those 2, I started a new game (which I had intended to do anyway) and was able to reacquire them shortly after from Bohdan and Wonders of Thedes. Anyone who doesn't have a slew of saved games on 360 is a fool considering all the problems it has been known to have with corrupted save games.

When you bought "Dragon age origins" you got "The Stone Prisoner" and the "Blood dragon armor" free right? So did i! But they just wouldn't pop up in the download box. Was there any kind of delay when you guys downloaded the DLCs?

Right because expecting information and being adament about it, on  thrice delayed content that you've already paid for esentially.   Thats the definition of trolling right there. Logic fail ftw! Posted Image

Im talking a simple 30 minute content update. Which is all this is. Half Life 3 is far more extensive. Games have been delayed for years and years. But when the game itself has been worked on for so long like Dragon Age, it is odd they are having such difficulty with a small content update. The engine is in place and tested, it should fit right in. Whatever this issue is truly must be monumental in scope. I have been buying games forever my friend, and really havent seen this kind of delay revolving around a 130MB download.

just unlock it and exit game. It will re-unlock and stay unlocked. I didn't save on my old characters on purpose just in case this method would cause another issue. However they did stay unlocked and I started a new character to see if they would. i had to get the level 20 rouge achievement done anyway so it wasn't a hardship for me.

The title update broke several things. You need to clear your cache to remove it. To do so go to System Settings -> Memory. Press Y. If you see an option that says "Clear system cache", choose it. If not, press X, X, LB, RB, X, X. That fixes the specialization bug introduced by the title update and should clear up any other problems it has caused that weren't in existence before it was unleashed upon our Xbox's.

I was hit with the specialization lock, after downloading the xbox update.  Would I need to have a save, prior to when I downloaded the update, or will the cache-clearing work regardless of when my last saved game was? My issue is I unlocked champion and I bought sprit healer book and they have both disappeared when I went to level up Morrigan and Sten.  I overwrite a lot of my saves, so I am afraid I do not have a save file prior to the update.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Will I have to go back to buy the book again, or would the specialization reappear automatically after clearing the cache?

instead of ****ing about us yapping why don't you go back 10 pages and read. Clearly most of the yappers here are pc users, so they aren't going to be able to completely help you anyway. And the workaround isn't working for everyone, so don't have your hat on it being a magical fix

Or maybe, just maybe, try looking in the xbox 360 forums for support? Took me all of about 5 seconds http://social.biowar.../index/604827/6

Lot's of hostility about nothing... geez... thanks for the link though, and I had been looking around, maybe just not hard enough seeing as how I didn't find the information. So thanks, but still... tone down the aggression.
