Its funny you mention that because I was thinking the same thing as to why the cache workaround was working for some but not others. You may be onto something muffin though unfortunately I don't think we have a definitive answer one way or another.

The title update broke several things. You need to clear your cache to remove it. To do so go to System Settings -> Memory. Press Y. If you see an option that says "Clear system cache", choose it. If not, press X, X, LB, RB, X, X. That fixes the specialization bug introduced by the title update and should clear up any other problems it has caused that weren't in existence before it was unleashed upon our Xbox's.

you first should clear the cache, you only need a save that will allow you to just unlock the specialization. Once it say it's unlocked it's unlocked for all save files. Problem is that you may have passed the level required to select an unlocked specialization at this point. You may have to backtrack if it's really a specialization you must have.

lots of hostility about nothing? Just xbox users coming in to this thread every few pages saying ah mine is broken how do I fix it. even though you have your own support forum, and if you looked through a few pages you would have found the answer. 

I hope it works for you, but seriously it has to be some kind of annoying issue when you can pretty much pick the majority of console users from the pc users in this thread based on their posts. 

I'm sorry if you think I am being a jerk, but at the moment my annoyance at this ongoing issue is pretty much pointed to MS and anything associated with it.

It is possible, a bit of a pain though I admit.  It requires you to have a memory card.  Its similar to dumping the cache.  The button code can be found on the official Xbox live website.  However it is profile linked, so don't get any crazy ideas about giving your save files to your buddies.

Just a save prior to unlocking one of the specializations I think. If nothing else you could always start a new character, get it past Ostagar and then talk to Morrigan till you get the shapeshifter one unlocked. That should work just as well. Once they're unlocked again you won't have to re-unlock any of them and will be able to level Morrigan and Sten how you want to once you reload that character.

It has everything to do with it. You don't understand that some of us aren't willing to just wait indefinately to maybe someday get a tiny bit of information regarding the status of the DLC. And it appears to make you angry that anyone would be critical towards the way this has been handled. 

 I mean at that rate why even have a community rep at all? Heck better yet why even have forums? If you can't be positive 100% of the time you shouldn't post! Praise only!

Truth is I honestly think most of the issues are circling around the console updats versus the PC versions, however often when games come out for multiple platforms in this manner, the general ideal is ... whats good for the goose is good for the gander.  So if Xbox can't have their toy... neither can anyone else.  With the hammer tools and creation models introduced to pc users, it is more than likely the PC version is functional and the least of the companies concerns.  However once again, I simply state... weither it is a 130 mb patch or a 2 gig expansion.  **** happens, and delays occur.  The only issue I truly have with all of this is the poor representation on the delays and the lack of advert modification.  If the product is not available the advert should express this.  as far as "OMG this is Epic Fail" I still say its not that big of a deal, simply because most PC users have access to much more thanks to communities like Dragon Age: Origins Nexus, and Dragon Age: Origins Hammer titans.  As for xbox 360 users... I do apologize, the title update error is stupid and the main reason I went and bought the pc version.

I don't think that's much of an issue. I did at least one or two runs where I didn't pick a specialization until level 10 and was still able to do it, I just had fewer points I could put into it afterward without sacrificing something else.

You will not be required to re-enter the codes, as the items are already assigned to your bioware account.

If you've already redeemed it through the social site, you should only have to log into your account on the game title screen using the same log in credentials you used to register the content on the website.

Wow, you guys cut some staff or something? The delay on this has been more around what you would think for an actual whole game, not just an add on. I'm not too worried as I just gave up and moved on, but was thinking about it for some reason so figured I would come back and check. I guess if I think about it again I'll come for another update next week if I'm not too preoccupied with something else.

When I hit level 14 w Morrigan, the sprit healer specialization was locked.  So I did not use any specialization points. So, if I clear the cache and restart, the specialization should reappear (since it was from a manual I bought way earlier in the game) and I would just have to wait until level 15 to use the specialization point?

it will not reappear automatically after clearing the cache, you have to unlock them in any save you have and it will then unlock for all saves.

Well, it wasn't meant as an aggressive sentence. (The one you posted a comment about) This is why I hate writing things online, if you are in a bad mood, you will read all sentences that are without smilies as "bad". Seeing as how there really is no way to express oneself digitally without smilies.

That was my mistake and I appologise. Also, I have posted on a few threads regarding my subject but the ones I had posted on weren't active which means I didnt get an awnser. And seeing how active this thread was, I just thought I'd try my luck here instead.

I also understand your annoyance, and it wasn't my purpose to cause more of it. Sorry about that, and again, thank you for the link. I found some useful information and I´ll try that out.
