Puhlease... an update?????
Paul Revere delivered updates quicker by HORSEBACK during the revolutionary war that we have gotten on this subject.. hey bioware, 1 if by release, or 2 if by more delays?
I'd like to make a formal request that you put a warning label on your posts that Coke may be sprayed on your laptop while reading if you're going to continue making posts like this one.
LOL.. sorry about that, i will warn ahead of time ;-)

It could be a lot worse.
The Title update could have gone on with no intent to fix it.
RtO could've been released full of its bugs.
EA could simply have taken your money and gone swimming in the vault, joking about 'suckers.'
It's coming. Relax.

This is becoming too sad to be funny, makes one wonder whether this DLC should be ever downloaded at all once it's released, considering how one critical bug pops out after another. Really, when this.. thing is finally out it should be given away for free, heck, customers should be given free bonus points for all this.
I suppose we should know better than to expect an update, let alone an actual release.
Think about the amount of content being provided vs. the total delays so far... It's pretty ridiculous.

but the community has a point. Bioware could be more vocal about updates & such then this but then it was the week end & now is a holiday so meh.

Things could ALWAYS be a lot worse. That doesn't mean that, as things stand, 'it' isn't already pretty bad.

all expacs on every game & platform have been kept under wraps til the devolping company(s) are ready to release info. Concidering that awakenings has only been annouced for not even 2 weeks with a release date of mid-march(?), I wouldn't expect anthing further about it til the game is reviewed &/or played by poeple like us. Right now the question concerning awakenings is if it'll be released on time or simi on time.

Wish I had the money that Bill Gates has...I would buy BW and let them run with thier imaginations. Just think what they could do if they weren't reined in by EA?

You know, you are so right. Here we are wanting an update when things could have been so much worse.
For example, myself and many others could have paid for and downloaded a product that may or may not be complete. Or we could have downloaded something to fix a problem in a product we paid for that broke other parts of that product. And then, to top it all off, we could have had five days of silence on the issue and had to figure out how to fix it ourselves...
Oh wait...

that's the whole reason to not allow acquisitions in the first place...............however, who funds these "nightmarishly" long projects, while in development? i'm referring to Dragon Age as a complete project.

Oh blah, blah, blah. I'm not leaving the house until the dlc is released - so Bioware has got a (self imposed) hostage situation on its hands...
my demands are a pizza, some peanut M&Ms and the dlc as soon as possible. Or the cat gets it...

Somebody with a whole lot of money...maybe your retirement account? And if you think about it DAO is not a finished project because they promised add-ons which they are not able to keep. Just look at the RtO mess..... I bought this game with the promise from BW that I would be able to continue on (they would make DLC available) but it appears that they can't do it (ie RtO problems). As to acquistions....just look at the banking mess and you and me bailing them out but they still get multi-mega bucks bonuses.

You never answered my question, I Said "AS a Complete Project" not just some additional sequences.
And this has %^&* all to do with those over compensated ****wipes in the banking industry.

The effective range of an excuse is zero meters.
Besides -- there's no Martin Luther King Holiday in Canada.
BioWare just flat ass dropped the ball ... *again.*
I can understand the delay -- the passion for getting things right. What I can't understand is why BioWare cannot spell "Public Relations," or "community support." Shameful.

2 Months after the game came out and you are whining due to a slight delay with the 3rd... count it THIRD dlc? Also with an expansion coming out soon.
If you reckon you can churn out more decent DLCs for this game than they have in such a short space of time, there is this neat thing you know that came with the PC version called the toolset, it allows you to make campaigns, new armor, new characters, basically anything you see in the game, including funky cut-scenes... like this... why not go have a go at it.
Oh wait, you expect them to dish out more than 3 DLCs inside 2 months of the game coming out... because your just some lazy smuck who thinks they should obey your every whim. Yeah, keep dreaming... not gonna happen.
