any ****ing news on RtO dlc?

nothing yet, should be free though.

I
have heard that the RTO will be slightly more expensive than predicted, because they had so much extra work..

it better be free, i am not spending points on something that has been delayed more times then FFXIII.

If Bioware/EA charge more for RTO, they are going to lose some of there fan base. Beside it was there own damn fault it had bugs in it. It shouldnt of been released in the first place with out de-bugger team looking at both the patch and DLC. It should be free as an apology to the fans since they screwed up our game due to there patch they released.

i can tell you all now that it will Not be free and you know why?....simpel if they can make a ****load of cash selling it why would they give it away?

it cost them money to make it, so it Will cost you money to play it.

but what they will do is put out a "we are sorry for screwing up your games/console/etc" and that will be the end of that.

I'd like to add that I feel really bad for anyone who rushed to buy "points" in order to obtain this DLC last week, and currently still has nothing to show for it, and no idea when they will.

I think you're confusing XBL/PSN points with BioWare points, Jedimaster.

At least XBL points (or PSN I think uses a points system, could be wrong) can be used on other purchases. BioWare points currently have no use for most people.

Bioware will charge what they charge I doubt they will consider dropping the price and to be honest why would they even if everyone who says they aren't going to buy it don't buy it thats like 5% of the games market. Although it would be a dick move to make the people who already paid for it on live have to buy it again.

Wait, no complaints here but im just a lil confused.
I did not play DAO for a while now, and recently formatted my computer.
I just REinstalled dragon age on my system
AND WAS FREAKING OUT since i could not find the ''Return to Ostagar expansion'' available in the download list,
THINKING that its MY ACCOUNT/GAME that got screwed up and wouldnt let me download the expansion....
But im wrong, am i not?? The RTO is not available yet, hence my predicament=?
Coz im gonna be real sad if im the only one in the world who cant get it:D
PS
Damn, i was almost sure they released it like  5-6 days(?) after the new years eve or something, but i reading the OP helped to shed a little light about my questions at least........Posted Image

But this is largely Microsoft's fault. This isn't the first time a title update has messed everything up and forced a withdrawal, it's a clunky and finnickey system designed not to aid you the player but salve MS's need for total paranoid control over the software on it's system.

If it wasn't for hackers trying to get everything for free Micro$uck wouldn't be doing this.

Although it's funny - They go to great lengths to make sure you can't steal from them but they give you a web browser with built in technology (Active-X) that lets hackers have their way with your PC.  I wonder how much the Russian Maffia is paying Bill Gates to keep the security holes open?

Well anyone who did actually download it paid for it, so how do you then give it to them for free? And for those who didn't get it before it was pulled, nothing of yours is screwed.
They have still put a lot of effort into it and $5 is nothing. If you don't want the content it is simple, you don't buy it. I will be disappointed if they do give it away for free.

The first time i tried to create a second DA character, my current one was erased.:crying: I know that it was saved as the top save file. So what do i have to do to create a second character. Should i save it in another slot?

If anyone knows (which propably many of you know) please reply! :wizard:

The irony is people with the PC version are playing RtO right now with the pirated versions on the net.
I myself wouldn't, I'm not so damn desperate as to get in bed with pirates for the sake of one 40 minute DLC, but a lot of people do. People that might've paid for it instead if it had been released any time resembling on time.

Your first character isn't erased. On the load-save screen, there should be an option to switch characters. Click that and select your old character, and your old saves will pop up. The game's designed in such a way that it keeps people from accidentally erasing their character's progress (unless you actively go into your character list and start deleting them).
