So I was thinking, if we gathered all our small collections of false swords, pitchforks, torches, hatchets, and wood splitting axes, and we all gathered outside bioware's office. We would not need to have RTO. Instead we could re-enact the battle of Ostagar in our own little way. We can play the role of the blight, and they can play that of the King, and Duncans forces. EA can have the special role of being Loghains forces... Then after everything is done. We can go look for our dog in the wreckage and dance around like the ewoks in the 6th star wars movie after it was remastered. or.... we can just wait...
Haha I loved this comment!

Re DAO vs Oblivion: very different games with very different styles so it is really only possible to say that one prefers one or the other. I prefer the open style of Oblivion but am happy to admit that MW -> OB was not a uniform step up, MW did some things better than OB. That said, I would be playing DAO but one more step and I will be locked out of RtO as the single lane end game path takes over, so I'm playing something else. My highly modded version of OB is a very, very satisfying alternative, at least for me. As my not currently playing DAO is entirely due to BW's failure to deliver RtO, I am having some problems considering myself a traitor for playing another company's games. I will be back to DAO once RtO is released; it is a shame that there are not more content mods for DAO out (yet) as that would allow me to continue playing this until RtO is released.

Yes when clicking to enter the forum that should pop up and fill the page. Then all must wait for at 10 seconds before you can pass it.
Well if by "lame excuse" you mean following thru on the many many warning that have allready been given and ignored, sure I guess you would be right..

Im with you man but once we reanact the dlc we all demand the first copies of DAO Awakening. P.S. we should be Duncan and the wardens instead of the darkspawn.

I also agree all forum moderators seem to be very touchy these days. Sheesh! The excuse will resemble something like " you have used the abbreviation RTO too many times and the letter A, so now i will be closing this topic *hums countdown tune*"

A month delay, 6 months, a year?
Having lost almost all faith in the ability for them to release content in any kind of reasonable time-span I am seriously thinking of just dropping DAO altogether and moving on to a game from a company that has more than trained monkeys working for them

Anyway, of course they are going to get touchy, it's the same repetitive whine and comments, in regards to a project that they estimated would be finished a fortnight ago. I'd be fairly annoyed at it too.

Can I delete the DLC and then clear my cache? Will that revert it back to normal?

But seriously, fingers crossed for a release soon. This is the best game I've played in years and I simply want MORE!

I've pretty much shelved the game until Awakenings comes out. It makes me think if they're having this much problem with the add on for DA:O, what kind of problems will they have with Mass Effect 2 and the plans they have for the DLC for that. And if there is this much trouble with this add on, what about future add ons?
I think you are missing that companies tend to evolve and adapt to prevent the mistakes of yester year/day coming back to bite them.
The service will improve, at the cost of now.

Second, we wanted to make it clear that there were lessons learned from the release. We're adjusting testing methodologies to better find these types of issues in future updates. This will be a benefit for all of our releases in the future.
Finally, we really are trying to improve communication and information flow around here. Notes like these are an indication of that. I have some meetings this week, where we'll work further toward getting updates on the questions floating about the forum, so we can help you feel better informed.

Worry, worry ... ye of little faith.
Stuff happens, folks. And in software development there are millions of points along the way where a tiny little thing can go wrong ... and poof. It's a mess.
Besides, would you like it if someone is this hard on you the next time you screw up?
You're here because BioWare makes great games. And you think that makes them somehow inhumanly perfect, do you?
Of course not. Now grow up and go play something else. Go outside or read a book, magazine or newspaper.
Sheesh.
