Hence, RtO will be delayed until the 26th. All Americans will be busy playing ME2, while us Europeans left out in the cold till the 29th get RtO.

I've pretty much shelved the game until Awakenings comes out. It makes me think if they're having this much problem with the add on for DA:O, what kind of problems will they have with Mass Effect 2 and the plans they have for the DLC for that. And if there is this much trouble with this add on, what about future add ons?
Worry, worry ... ye of little faith.
Stuff happens, folks. And in software development there are millions of points along the way where a tiny little thing can go wrong ... and poof. It's a mess.
Besides, would you like it if someone is this hard on you the next time you screw up?
You're here because BioWare makes great games. And you think that makes them somehow inhumanly perfect, do you?
Of course not. Now grow up and go play something else. Go outside or read a book, magazine or newspaper.
Sheesh.
I think they've been doing all these other things since it got announced nov 17 or was it 19? Idk... todays january 20, they have the right to vent about how bioware pissed them off by annoucning something then having some awesome delays for something that lasts only an hr [MAX]

So is there any news about RtO yet, or are we all still in limbo?

Comes out before = we all buy it.
Comes out after = only people without ME2 buy it.
If it does not come out before ME2 I will be very surprised and disappointed.
I have a run through of DA I want to finish but I am waiting for RtO to do so.
And yes, I have a life, a wife, 2 kids, a great job, a band, and I read books too!!! - this does not preclude me from having an opinion about the elusive DLC.

A good deal too much time in Limbo I should think. *KNOW* that at this point, perhaps the only way left Bioware can redeem itself after all this is by providing us in RTO with a genuine wicked karach blade, the sweltering sword of frustration and exhausted patience--I'd be intrigued to see the shape it takes on channelling that sentiment.
QFT
LOL!
I said in another thread that ME2 is going to take up my gaming money until my income taxes come back, so if they don't get it out soon, forget about me buying it for a while. I'll probably get it eventually.

If RtO ends up coming out after ME2 I can only conclude that they're employing Homer Simpson as head marketer.

I don't think Mass Effect/2 is going to sit well with a lot of the DA:O crowd. From all the current infro ME/2 has lost a few RPG elements to more of a TPS action style. those of us who perfer stronger RPGs may play thru ME/2 once or twice and go right back to DA:O. I actually think BioWare knows this and that is why the explansion is set for March.
My theory is actually that ME2 and DAO will be playing a fun game of Pong with us, actually. I am noting some similarities between the releases of the two games that lead me to believe this. Both have unique items included depending on who you preorder from (though this is not uncommon practice), as well as a matching Blood Dragon DAO/ME2 set. On the day of release, ME2 is set to release a DLC pack that adds another companion, which is included free for those who purchase the game new and register it. Stone Prisoner, anybody? Do not be surprised if/when they announce a large ME2 expansion a la Awakening to be announced to release circa April/May.
Not that I'm complaining. If Bioware can keep me up to my neck in content for the rest of the year, bouncing back and forth between DAO and ME2 I'm all for it. I can think of much worse fates than having to play Bioware games until the End of Days...

360ers should pay the normal price.
PS3ers should pay double.

Ever noticed how everything Homer turns out positive in the end? The beginning and middle are normally hilariously stupid, but the end is always positive.
