Bioware releases software and updates only on Tuesdays, but cos they are so far behind Europe time-zones, it is usually Weds for the EU.. .Anyone familiar with NWN knows this...



So, do not expect RtO until next Tues/Weds, at the earliest....

If not then, the following Tues, etc., etc ...

The problem is that, after the "later today" part they just cared to inform the 360 crowd that their DLC was bugged, leaving PC gamers completely in the dark. No info whatsoever, nada, nix, nothing.
Not cool.

Actually i was pretty calm while its obvious your blood was boiling.

Just to clear up. This was posted by me while I was laughing like hell at the guy getting owned. I just wasn't paying attention to my non-existant editing skills and fouled up the quote. So no need to freak out on me. thanks.

To me, they did lie. That's just how I feel about it. With the 360 version being released along with an announcement that the PC version was to follow on the same day, I felt pretty sure that I could finally go ahead and buy some "BioWare Points".

And now... does anyone really know when this thing will come to PC? No. So BioWare got my money on a blatantly false claim. There, I won't call it a "lie". It was a "false claim". Bottom-line is if somebody in real-life retail pulled this kind of stunt I would be in the store manager's face until I got my money back or was otherwise compensated.

Of course, it's a hard analogy to imagine because usually you pay for goods as you receive them. But with this crap-tastic BioWare Points marketing system, that basic premise no longer exists.

Let us cut to the chase. When will Return to Ostigar be released for the PC. Gave up on consoles, not because of the cables(cable ties help), but the trade-off. If you go for video, and fantastic effects, everything else suffers. With 12M ram- No worries. But hurry up with RTO, So many darkspawn, So little time. Gamewardens RULE.

I play xbox because I cant play pc titles on a 50 inch screen. While I do love my pc and the customization it adds, I don't think it is fair to say that ANY one way is better than the other. You buy the game for the system you so choose and you have your legit reasons for doing so. The main reason you have console fanboys in the first place is because some might not be able to afford the system they want, thus intensely defending what they do have.

It is... That's not the PC by the way. The second PC is linked to the monitor in the middle (alongside with the older consoles and the Wii that's now gathering spider webs, as the blue light of abandonment shows ). The monitor above Age of Conan is the PS3/360 dedicated one. While the two keyboards are the PS3 one (below) and the second PC one (above). It's messy like that, but it's functional

Actually all leads us to believe that the real release date for RTO was today. In fact it was listed in the Microsoft site as 1/14/2009 when it appeared.
It seems quite obvious that the badly leashed microsoft server monkey inserted the wrong date in his terminal and didn't bother to doublecheck, resulting in the immediate release of the DLC because the system considered it already released.

I got a great PC that is more than capable of running this game, but when I played Oblivion I was stuck in my office and that was that.  When I play this on my 360 my 6 month old son can sleep on me while I play and I can sit on a nice comfy couch and enjoy the game on 46 inches of High Definition.  A PC is a powerful tool and I'm glad I can play a game on it if I want to, but for me the console just fits my needs for now.
