Umm as a mod, might you not have access to said info?Maybe hop over to QA and buy the test lead a beer and get the scoop on the situation.. then come back and enlighten us?
Unfortunately mods are just unpaid volunteers that take upon themselves the responsibility to keep the community at bay. As far as I know they are not based in the Bioware offices and have no direct access to the development team. So the poor guys can't do nothing else than throw a bucket of water in hell.
More like squirting a syringe of water in Hell.

Didn't you say yesterday the DLC will be released for PC yesterday? I can't find the post so I am not sure if i am imagining it

What does it matter what the problem is? As long as we have an estimate when it is done.

Not really. he just said that they're "working on details", which can mean absolutely everything. The last specific piece of information on the PC release was "it's coming out later today".
After a whole day and night of zero information, I'd say it'd be fair to give it a specific update. if such update is not provided, we have no reason not to believe that they're just witholding a finished product to appease Microsoft, or just because they think it's release is not a pririty, which would be bad no matter where you look at it from.
This loophole in communication, moving from the "it's coming out later today" to absolutely nothing, is simply a bad way to do PR. No apology, no details, no roadmap. Just a "thanks for all the fish, we'll tell you something, sometimes". I'm sorry, it doesn't cut it.

Not to be a ****** by pointing you out specifically, you just happened to be the latest post of this type that I saw. BUT...
For anyone making comments like this.. really? What if you were one of the 360 or PS3 owners hmm? Say you had this nice, shiney gray box sitting by your t.v. instead of a computer on a desk (or whatever the set-up is). What if you were on the other end of that type of statement?
I am not trying to flame anyone, or call anyone or their comments out in any way, but look at it realistically. From a business and professional standpoint it is not "fair" to release content to one platform and not others. Fair being a bad term to use but there you have it. How many of the posters in this forum are actually NOT going to purchase the content because it was "late"? Nothing is ever late in the gaming industry to be honest. Things go wrong. Period. Bioware would upset a LOT more people if they released the content to one platform and not the others. When favoritism is shown towards one, the company has to deal with all the other users being pi**ed about being shunned.
Because you would be just as annoyed if XBox DLC was delayed because of what was precieved to be a PC only problem.
From a business perspective it makes absolute sense to get a product out there on at least one platform, this is why you've seen phased releases across platforms over the last 5 or 6 years become more and more common, as well as the multiplatformal approach that Bioware has taken recently.
If it was PC problem I would understand the XBOX content going live while they fixed the PC problem mind you.
At the end of the day though, I don't care if RTO on xbox fills your house with kitty cats just so long as the PC one works.

Umh... a content that many already paid for delayed three times... let me think... global termonuclear war? Skynet?
The problem is not what happened. S*** happens. The problem is that communication with the paying customer base is being handled very, very poorly at best.

Of course, they could start insulting us and our mothers, send send us prank calls at 3 in the morning.
There can always be worse.
But the fact that they're not doing worse doesn't mean that they are doing good.

Enchantment?
Actually, bordering on Dis-Enchantment now.
I remember each of the Fallout 3 DLCs being like a mini-Christmas. So far RtO is like having Santa kick you in the nuts every week. The worst part is that some of the gaming site are saying that the majority of the DLC's excitement is going to be found in the wailing and moaning on these forums.
Still, can't wait to buy it. RtO Today, please!

You're assuming there's nothing wrong with the PC version. Given the lack of information at this point, I wouldn't just jump to the conclusion that the PC version is ready to go.
Yeah just because Bioware said the PC version did not have the achievment/ specialzation issue the x-box has. Does not mean there was not issues the PC had itself. Otherwise I would have thought they would have got it out yesterday for PC. So there must have been issues with it as well they were trying to rush to get fixed, and get it out to us. Everyone keep in mind That I don't think Bioware planned on releasing the DLC this soon. They were forced into damage control because of MS trying to push the Easy Button.

I have to applaud how you're handling this, Chris. I'm willing to bet anyone related to Microsoft in the Bioware offices aren't exactly in people's good books at the moment.
That said, I can't help feel that Bioware isn't blameless in this regard - releasing content, then taking it back, then making it sound like content for an entirely different platform as being held back purely as a matter of policy, and all the while refusing to give out any info is a pretty sure-fire way to annoy people. Is there *really* no info whatsoever on what on earth is going on?

That may be so. But the question is, is it really worth crying about? Because that's really all I'm seeing here. No amount of angry posts will get things done sooner. As I said, let's put things in perspective here:
There are worse things to worry about in this world than a DLC being delayed <_<
