Obviously all the posting is not going to make it come any faster. I am pretty confident they have gotten the hint. Let me sum up:
Delay: bad.
BioWare: bad.
MicroSquish: bad.
No DLC: bad.
Points purchased: bad.
No PC update: bad.
PS3 hanging too: bad.
XBox content bugged: bad.
Would anyone like to say anything good about BioWare? I dunno.. like that they are actually posting about the update and fix process enough for you to know someone is paying attention? That is better than other companies have done (Blizz, LucasArts, etc.) Would you like to comment on how they are allowing you all to vent, without locking the threads or banning accounts? Trolls, this obviously loosely applies to you, as some have likely gotten booted or banned for spam and "forbidden topic" talks. Would you like to comment on the fact that they are continuing to try to improve and expand upon a game that you seem to enjoy enough to want more of? How many games just... die out there with no return on content or expansions?
Sure, I am hacked I have points out there with no end in sight. I am peeved that it has been delayed and put on hold. Still, if they have not said something after hundreds of pages... maybe it is because there is nothing new to say? Sometimes, no news really is good news... if they are not telling you what other bugs they are finding or other hurdles they are trying to overcome, then perhaps it will be released soon enough.
Perhaps not. Who knows?
I am not the poster-child for being patient, nor am I known for being forgiving when I pay for a service I am not being provided. Yet, at the end of the day: what is worse?
A. The stress of you coming here and trolling the forums, complaining about something you cannot change, or
B. Not having a couple extra quests to go through with your character(s) the moment you feel you were entitled.
I know I am not saying anything you are not thinking, or that has not been said before. Have you unlocked every achievement? Have you tried every combination of race/class/skills? Have you experienced everything possible that the game has to offer?
If not, then do that while you wait.
If so, then read our comic. Complex Actions. That will get you a couple more hours down the road.
Watch a movie. Listen to music. Write a blog post. Update your Facebook status. Compose a poem or some music. Call an old friend. Take a girl or boy (your preference) out for a meal, maybe some dancing.
Get out of these forums. Let the DLC come... in the meantime, do something better than trolling here.
All else, the old idiom stands: A watched pot never boils. A watched forum thread never matures.

I think they (BioWare) put glitches into the games just to keep players coming back to these forums to find fixes. You can't tell me they didn't know about the level up sequence with Duncan in Ostagar. Personally I like the idea of leveling up to Level 25. Makes the game much more fun because if you play the game legit, you never get past Level 20, which doesn't give you the chance to use a lot of the spells and talents. Therefore I never installed the update patch. Maybe they don't pay their employees enough to actually play and test the game for glitches before they market the game.
i played the game "legit" by that i mean no cheats, glitches, or exploits. I just learned all I could from my first play through(lv22) & on my 2nd play through I made it to level 24 with 6 bars filled(so 6/10 of the way to lv25) with no cheating, glitches, or exploits. All quests & in game xp!!!! So your theory is a little off you just have to know how to use everything to your advantage(i had to change party members constantly to not get negative feedback from them so i could pick a fight with everyone every single chance i got for any main or side quest) Bioware was wrong though b/c with RTO I'm sure you can hit lv25 easily!!!!

I said plenty good things when it was warranted, enough to be named "fanboy" by multiple sources. About this whole situation, I'm afraid there's nothing good to be said.
And no, honestly having someone coming to us to say "good morning, we're looking into it, there's no ETA, good night" after a "the DLC is coming out later today" and then a whole day/night/morning of silence is not something I would consider enough to be commendable.
Actually It's definitely under the bare minimum that i would consider acceptable.

I hit level 25 the first time through. All side missions save two (would post them here but that might make for spoilers) plus all extended content available at the time. No exploits, no cheats, no walkthroughs, etc., also not played on 'Easy' mode. I found that sometimes, traveling between places excessively make some things respawn on the road and attack you randomly.
So... yes, you can get to 25 playing through normally.

I am a fanboy, and proud of it. I also like cake AND waffles AND pancakes. Oh well.
So, you would rather them give you more expectations to fail at? Or ignore you completely? When someone you know is late coming home by a few hours, do you prefer they never call, or give you an unreasonable timeline to be there? Or, are you ok with "hey, I hate to do this, but I am running late. With traffic, no idea when I will get there. Hope that is ok with you?"
Knowing what I do about the industry, I have to say that they are doing a lot better in a lot of ways than other companies have. Sure, it sucks, but consider it could always get worse.

I had my last day playing Dragon Age today. I was on early yesterday and was greeted with a patch. I checked the forums and found out that the patch was related to the new DLC (which was also available). Cool, right? So I continued on with my game, cleared out the final pieces of my quests and headed to bed. When I awoke today I was in a hurry to finish my playthrough as I had gone everywhere possible and was eager to see my Traveler achievement unlock. Sadly it did not.
So I came onto the forums to see what I could do. Low and behold I come across this thread. So I reload my game and, sure enough, all of my specializations are again locked. Needless to say I came across two bugs while trying to finish Something Wicked so at this point I have nothing left to give. My patience is gone and I do not feel like investing another my time into another playthrough to unlock the specializations again and attempt to unlock the final achievement. What's worse is that I would be forced to play a Mage again due to how one specialization in particular unlocks.
Hopefully Mass Effect 2 has better luck but this is getting downright pathetic with the number of issues in Dragon Age that have yet to be patched (at least on the 360). RIP Dragon Age, you were a 7 out of 10 at best.
