An update or a post as to what is going on with the DLC right before they left work would have been nice.

The Title Update has been removed by Microsoft. If anyone was worried about playing their copy of Dragon Age: Origins on their Xbox 360 whle this was present, you no longer need to worry.
We are still working on a fix the the issue introduced to those who did install the Title Update.
We are checking all versions of Return to Ostagar to ensure that there are no outstanding issues or the possibility of introducing new ones. Currently, we do not have an eta for the release of Return ot Ostagar on any platform.
When I have more details or information, I will let you know.

And I presume you could put the DLC out harder faster better? be MY guest.

Don't get upset over the wait the DLC is only 15-20 minutes long on Nightmare and thats if you read all the 3 codexes (there is a 4th but its just credits...)
King Cailins armour seems perfect for a strength rogue but for everyone else its lacking, the sword and shield however are fantastic and will boost sword and shield dps.
But overall the DLC is very lacking in substance, but at least it doesn't leave dangling plot threads like the whole Warden's Keep Avernus thing.

WHAT PART OF "NO SPOILERS ALLOWED" got past you??!!!! FFS GTFO
I havent played RTO yet, but there are no spoilers in lisakover's statement. It tells you already that you get all that stuff. Unless you want to consider the 15-20 minutes long the spoiler.lisakover wrote...

Lol? Point out a spoiler in that, really please do, the only spoiler would be about getting the armour and weapons which is on the DLC description.

guys, seriously give bioware a break, do you have any idea how difficult it would be to release a product on three separate platforms simultaneously...
Do they deserve a break? Chris Priestley posted immediately that the PC version will be coming out shortly on January 13, 2010 after the xbox version went live unexpectedly but decided to yanked it yet again for the third time after finding out new issues ergo the PC version (windows) is ready and is just waiting there lying cozy until xbox (windows) is certified for simultaneous release.

No they definitely don't. The whole "oh programming is so hard" B.S. excuse no longer flies here. Not after they release a patch to fix achievements and break not only the ones that weren't broken but breaks the specializations in the process. Then they don't even have the courtesy to post it in the 360 tech support boards? Nice customer service there Bioware. Hope you are enjoying my money more than I could have you know BUYING A GAME THAT WORKS!!!!!! ONE THAT THE PEOPLE WHO MADE IT GAVE A RAT'S ASS ABOUT!!!!!

"I don't blame him solely. Well... maybe I do. But that's because it was his name on the post that told me it was safe to assume that RtO would be available in a matter of hours. Sucks to be the spokesperson, but most spokespersons understand the levity of their job and take precautions, rather than throwing out information into the wind that could result in people feeling ripped-of"
This statement pretty much points the finger at him. And basically says he just kinda felt like telling us something so just threw it out there without actually being told that it was ok to give us the info.
Douche. At least if you are going to try and backtrack on what you said make some effort to get rid of your earlier posts.
Read that statement of mine that I quoted. The statement points the finger at him for what? What am I accusing Chris of? For making a post that he did, in fact, make?
Troll somebody else please. I haven't blamed Chris for anything that he isn't ABSOLUTELY guilty of.
Not in any of my posts, all of which I stand by, and all of which you've taken way too seriously and yet, still don't seen to comprehend.
Chris made a post on the 13th that directly resulted in me placing trust in a product that turned out to be a bust. Is it his fault solely? No, afterall he didn't make the product. BUT: Do I want him to address the problems? Yes.
^^^ That's for you. My way of saying goodbye. And I like how you make double posts to censor your words only to then spout out more profanities. You seem like you're very level-headed indeed.

Dude, calm down. The game as a whole works, im still playing Dragon Age just fine, albeit without the dlc, but oh well, they pulled it down fast so they could minimize the damage. Im not gonna stop enjoying this game thats, in my opinion, amazing over a dlc that is buggy and they just want to fix said bug and fix any other problems that may arise. Or would you rather them to have just left the dlc out there, ruin everyone's games and just not care?

Good news! If you clear the cache on the 360, any specializations you unlock will remain unlocked. This is because Microsoft has removed the title update from LIVE. The catch is you have to unlock them again.
To clear your Xbox 360 cache:
- On the Dashboard, go to System Settings
- Select Memory
- Highlight your storage device and press Y for Device Options
- Select Clear Cache (if you don't have that option, press X, X, LB, RB, X, X)
- Say Yes when asked if you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox
This clears all title updates from your system. It will not delete your saves or DLC.
If you have old saves, load them back up and unlock those hard-to-get specializations, like Champion or Blood Mage or Arcane Warrior. If you don't have any old saves, well, at least anything new you unlock will stay that way.
