2 things. 1st. It isn't responsible to be making pc users wait when it has been proven to date that RtO has no inherent issues. The number of illegal downloaders of the RtO are testament to that.
2nd thing. Windows 2000 was an awesome os (not particularly for gaming mind you). Windows ME on the other hand......

On the 13th it should have been pretty obvious to everyone that with the major issue on the 360 there was no way they were still going to give it to the pc until they had figured out why it was an issue. Since it is now clear it was the title update, I would have thought they would give it to pc users. But as I keep saying, if there is an agreement between BW/EA and MS to do a simultaneous release they can't tell us that because then they would admit they lied to us before release when they said the consoles wouldn't negatively impact the pc.

there really is evidence that interest is being generated by these fake release dates, your own included, over 60 pages of it in this single thread alone.
i am quite aware of the the fact that problems do indeed happen, but that is as obvious as it is patronising.
Why do you have to go on with fake dates. They are missed deadlines. Fake indicates that they never had ANY intention of having them out. I'm happy to wait (even though I think they should release the RtO to pc users) as I am having more than enough fun with the game as it is. I couldn't care less if it didn't come out for a month or even release it with the expansion for all I care.
I'm glad you understand patronising, because that is pretty much what I was going for.
Fair enough on Windows ME. Windows 2000 hated people though. I suspect ME was created just to prove that Microsoft could wrap a piece of crap in tinfoil and sell it as earrings and people would buy it.
On the rest, you're speculating though. Is there an issue with the PC build? Is it a matter of their agreement with MS? Maybe
in the vetting process at MS some guy acidentally replaced all the new
dialog with text from his massive stockpile of Harry Potter slash
fiction.
I could say that I'm not a big fan of EAs business model at a corporate level. However, that's just more armchair QBing. I will say that I have
been deeply pleased and impressed with the quality of DA:O as a product
and have faith that the people involved in its development at BioWare
will do all that they can, within the bounds of tools and resources
available to them in a corporate environment, to ensure that they
deliver a high quality product to the end user.
One thing I find so funny is that because DA:O was so awesome at release, that it delivered several TIMES the amount of content that other games at a similar price provide, that all future DLC should have the same relative valuation - i.e., 140+ hours of entertainment for approximately $50.
By this logic, they should have released a shorter, more flawed game. Then paying more for DLC and having a few technical issues wouldn't seem like as big a deal.....
right?
