gg, Bioware should make a stickied thread for this sort of thing that only THEY can reply in so people don't have to try to sift through this crap to see if there is any substance...

Just click on the BioWare tag unter the name of this thread in the forum and you'll only see the posts theBioWare guys made

I do NOT want to have to go through the workaround of deleting cache ect and have to go through the process of unlocking all the specs again via a new character! (DA xbox 360 user)

I am going through DA withdrawls! fix it! fix it NAO!!

Or at least update when you will have a fix for the havoc that the Title update wrought.

Deleting the cache is hardly a "process" and will probably be good for your Xbox considering the number of games you have updates for that you'll never play again. I did it and noticed a marked improvement in system response time.

There have been reports in another thread (social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/67/index/604827/4) that, once you have cleared the cache, just re-unlocking one spec, saving, retstarting the console, & loading will restore all of your unlocked specs.

I hope this helps.

considering i just got my new xbox less than a month ago i don't really see why i should be doing this just to try to resolve an issue that was created from this game.  my comment was meant to say we should not be asked to do this to resolve something their patch broke. (not that i didn't do it because i did and still having issues, bah)

While clearing the cache did give me a marked improvment in my system it also currupted my DAO saved games that I had played sense downloading the title update and RtO, while I have read this is not the case for everyone, I would still caution against it unless you do not care about starting over if your saved games get currupted.

after all the flaming for having wrong information with updating, now people want updates? not going to happen. Since you can't make all the people happy may as well keep everyone in the dark until the product is launched. Heck maybe even best for BW to not even log into the forums until it's done. There is nothing to see here.. move along.. nothing to see

Well I can confirm that Arcane Warrior is one of the specializations that is effected. I leveled up with it prior to the update and after update its locked again.

Haven't noticed any issues with any other ones so far.

Sorry, but this is absolutely silly. After all that happened keeping the user in the dark and not even "logging in the forums" is simply poor business practice and bad customer support.

Not really, because when they were updating people with the best information they had and that information was wrong it resulted in pages and pages of flaming and claims of horrible customer support. So they are in a no win situation people complain when they get updates, people complain when they don't. So, don't even bother having BW log into the forums with any information, keep them working on the product and come back when it's done.

Could the 360 users who have the buggy title update please stop posting about it! Bioware is working on a fix for it! It's unfair to the PC, 360 & PS3 users who are waiting for RTO to be released so they can also play!

Actually they never really updated people with the best information they had. Maybe it's time for them to actually start doing that.
