You don't need to start a new character, you can talk to zevran and have him teach you to be an assassin even if he already has and it will still count.
And unlocking 1 spec reunlocked everthing for me.

Did you unlock one, exit to dashboard, and then check? Because unlocking one seems to work, but you then have to quit the game (or possibly reboot the system). Then your specs should be back across all playthroughs.

The Title Update has been removed by Microsoft. If anyone was worried about playing their copy of Dragon Age: Origins on their Xbox 360 whle this was present, you no longer need to worry.
Something I'm curious about. Is it Return to Ostagar that was causing issues or was it the Title Update or are they one and the same?
Can I play Return to Ostagar without having the Title Update, or is it better to just delete Return to Ostagar?

Wow, BioWare wanted brownie points for not releasing a buggy add-on several times and then brownie points for not announcing another delivery date that they might miss...only for them to release a buggy product that they had to pull and now come up with a fix for.

The bug is on the title update. If you delete it you can play the DLC but I think you can not get achivement. The achivement can not be get with the title update either.

The update was Microsoft's fault. Also, you're generalizing the entire situation in the most horrible way.

You know..it "could" have something to do with some sort of internal readjustments going on at EA. Given what happened a few days ago...there was an article I read on (gamespot?? don't remember) in regards to some former employee stating some not so nice things about EA management.
But thats neither here nor there, NONE of us know exactly whats going on til they decide its time to tell us.
I quoted this guy's post because it seemed rather comical that he has a hate on for almost every moderator in this place, who.....it seems to me haven't poked their heads in here, in the last few hours.
So ..thanks for the comedy.
I am starting to feel like I belong to this ..hmm what do you call it, kind of like AAA meetings that you see on tv, where..you stand up and you come forward and say...I am a Dragon Age: Origins addict, I confess I have been waiting...patiently (well sometimes patiently............ then I wander off to watch Farscape lol) for my dlc.
I also want to confess that I am a PC owner, did not as yet purchase points for the dlc, and ...I'm not angry.
Does this mean I can yet be redeemed?
