Archedemon is a high Dragon, aren't all high Dragons female?Rawgrim wrote...
2 out of the 3 main villains in DA2 were male (Anders and Orsino), and 1 of them were female (Meredith). So lets go for a female one this time.

Good point. Loghain + female achdemon in DA:O. Brings us to 3-2. Architect + freaky broodmother in Awakening brings the tally to 4-3. So maybe 2 female villains and one male in this one then.

ArchDemons are male in the lore and in in-game explanations including codices. Re-tally.

Old Gods can be male (if they even technically have a gender) - but only female dragons have wings.Hanz54321 wrote...

Urthemiel in DA:O was considered a male Old God but definitely a female dragon.

Er, only the Arishok was a villain. Anders never had to be and Orsino doesn't deserve the title, as he wasn't written for the part and had it crudely shoved in at the last minute because some jackass in development wanted another boss fight quickly.Rawgrim wrote...

Ideally, a villain should be well-written and compelling. Neither trait or quality is dependent upon gender, nor should be. Give me a baddie with a good story, who inspires fear and/or ire, and I'm good.cJohnOne wrote...
What gender should the Villain be and why?

I would like Dragon Age 3 to be more mature than a 10 year olds cartoon about good guys and bad guys.
