I'm more addicted to unlocking banners then more loot. I've never been much of a gear **** ever. But I've always been very vain. I'm the type that spends hours designing a character in a RPG if you give me a lot of options.

I don't pursue things to 'show off' but rather I like to have things that make my character look better. Am I better than someone that plays just to unlock loot? Nope, Im just another type of addict is all

edit- so to anwser your query yes I'd still play. I've been happy with my manifest for a long time now.

Just play the game because you enjoy it instead of hitting a plateau by getting a specific item.

I probably would still play but not as much. The RNG is perfect for me even though it pisses me off because I'm OCD.

I would, because I like the game.

Most wouldn't, though, because the only reason they keep playing is because they want unlocks. A maxed manifest doesn't change the game; if people are bored now trying to get it, then chances are they're gonna be bored when they actually do get it.

I would play the game a lot more if I were still actively progressing and unlocking things. In my experience, there's one thing that gamers hate more than anything else. More than technical difficulties, more than boring gameplay. That's getting up from a long, long session of play having accomplished absolutely nothing.

That is the single biggest buzzkill in gaming. And it's what leads me and most of my gaming buddies to completely drop playing things that we, only weeks before, had been sinking 50 hours a week into. I hit this point shortly after finishing the challenges and maxing my rares--and I'm playing about 5-10% as much as I used to. My friends are about to hit it as well, and I predict the same.

I'd be playing right now, certainly.

Now that I've hit the UR ceiling, and know the store has nothing left for me but a single UR every six packs, I'm having a hard time wanting to keep playing. As much as I enjoy the game, the voerall progression is a big part of my personal motivation. Now that it's so far out of my hands, I just don't have much fun with it.

There's no point in working hard when you never get anything to show for it; putting in the time and effort just to get the glorious opportunity to buy a lottery ticket doesn't suit me.
