I've been playing back through the entire series and I've made it to ME2. And I realized that Sheperd working with Cerberus is (most likely) accidental allusion to Bioware working with EA. We don't like it, but we don't have much of a choice. It isn't the worst thing ever and some people will complain about it more than others. It's something we have to work with and we will get used to. With out Cerberus it would be very likely that Sheperd wouldn't be alive. Without EA we would probably still have Bioware, but how well would they be doing? Would we have ME3, would we have all of what we had for ME2 (such as the voice actors, the quality, the DLC). I'm not a big fan of what they (Cerberus/EA) do and how they do it, but I'll say about EA what my Sheperd had to say about Cerberus, "They are a necessary evil.
