you even completed a wave 10 on a speedrun when we all said we were bleeding out. you took 5 mins running around buffing your score, instead of just dropping so we could run another game.

I dont give a rats ass about score, as long as i am able to get the team through the match while having fun, and getting everyone alive to extraction. If i see someone score high, good for the team, means it is that much faster for the rest of us

Lol well no. I talk about people outscoring me to joke about it but I really never cared and in that game where I didnt want to bleed out. If you didnt realize I dont like to die dude ever thats why I finished it even if it didnt matter so thats that. Yer insults dont even tickle Im afraid lol:lol:

where's the joke? a joke about it would be ripping the guy below you on the scoreboard.

i know you don't like to die, it's what makes your videos so entertaining. the way you take hours to kill stuff really spices things up. it didn't matter, sure, but you were obnoxious enough to allow everyone sit and watch you for 5 mins instead of doing more SPEED runs, which is what we set out to do.

i wouldn't say i was insulting you, but why reply if it doesn't "tickle"?

Score is one way to judge contribution to a match, but there's nothing better than that Geth Juggy acting as the "doorman" on GIANT and keeping out the riff-raff, or that VOLUS boosting sheilds right when you need it most, or that infiltrator knocking out all the disarm objectives PDQ, or swooping in cloaked constantly and doing revives under HEAVY fire. My recent fav was an AIU, that would sprint across the map targeting all Ravagers for termination almost on spawn.

....so nice to not be bombarded by ravagers the whole match.

To be frank, I can get top points in any match, but there are so many more ways to be a MAJOR contributor to a match.

I'd love to see an MVP vote post match implemented. Too many times my vote would be for someone other than the top scorer.

I don't know...not sure if I like getting massively outscored and not having anything to shoot at. It'll be pretty boring. I've rage-quitted in the past when it's obvious that the others are score-d*cks.

Excuse me?!!?  Are you one of those who quits when you get outscored?!?!?  Looking at your profile you have some decent weapons (certainly better than mine), how is it that you're being outscored?  If this is the case it's a personal problem.. not something you should be blaming (impacting) other for.

Please correct my misunderstanding here.

Only a complete farging idiot would quit a match because they were being outscored.  Sadly I see this quite often.  If you have no enemies to shoot move from Bronze to Silver or Gold for a change.

Score quiters should be punished.

I care about my scores just for comparing builds and loadouts with each other (and playstyle), and the guys on my friend list do not discuss in game performance at all. We are just having fun. After 2700 games of ME3 MP I am still waiting for a comment about my performance (no, I am not, I dont care), may it be good or bad. No comment so far at all received, not with my friends, not with PUGs.

ive called out the 3rd score for being a good team mate, and berated the others for being dicks. ive voted to kick people that have scored higher than others because they did not play as a team (ex. did not gel, didnt do objectives, didnt help team mates). ive sent people messages telling them how nice it is to play with someone that does not suck for a change.

score much the same with n7/challenge points, mean almost nothing. ill take a low scoring team player over a high scoring douche any day... though to be honest, i just want a good team mate that scores well lol

Scoring for the average player is very much dependent on map, companion classes and opponent. Get the right set up and you can score big, get the wrong one and you can struggle.

*sigh* I've cared about score since I started playing. Then I had to promote and couldn't play a lot of the characters I like. So I stopped caring and kind of hated playing because of the grind.

Competition is fun when it is among friends. Not so much against people you don't know. When it's your friends, there's joking and trash talk. When it's people on your friends list that you barely know or pugs, then it's all serious and boring.

It's hard to not care about score because of my reputation. I try not to, and remind myself and "her" that I still have another gear that doesn't always have to be used. Some habits die hard...

I actually do not know what the score means.  Sometimes I do extremely well collecting/getting nigh 200K points.  Other times I am sitting around the 52K to 89K range and don't even break 100K.  But I do not know what makes it so. I just enjoy zooming around with the Justicar dropping bubbles and making booms. *shrugs*

If I can go a Platinum game without getting downed by those pesky Geth Hunters I am superhappy.

Had a moment of sheer SCOREMATTERS, yesterday. I outscored two pathetic flesh-slugs, using my Geth Engineer with his favourite pulse-rifle, on Hazard Glacier. The whelps were a Paladin and a Shadow, constantly spamming their powers and leeching kills, [though it means nothing to me anymore] by the end of the game, I managed to- by chance, outscore both of them. Oh, and guess what happened when we got back to menu...You're right, kicked.  
Blatantly, because I got a higher score than both of them. And this was a silver game- seriously, who cares about a number that can't help you if you've already maxed your characters.
