Anyone notice that in every one of the OPs vids that isn't a solo, he almost always pauses very briefly at points? It literally does nothing in this game but show you the scoreboard and the wave, so what else is he realistically looking at?

I just find it odd that Cain made a thread like this.

This is the reason I like my group of friends. We have a good time and none of us could give 2 ***** about the scoreboard.

i usually top score by a large amount, but i also play high DPS or high offense characters.

i dont care about score at all, like i said in my other post, i only care about people being team players.

but i can understand people feeling bad when they are outscored so badly, they usually think the top score player is secretly making fun of them.
in my case i dont make fun of them at all, unless they were a leech and not a team player at all.

i have had people appologize on the mic or through messages for having low score and then i tell them the same thing "dont worry about it, just revive people and do objectives and its all good".

only reason im saying all this is because im sure there are alot of people out there like me.

I guess I suck then, to bad that since i'm such high N7 and challenge points that no one a think that, and that I'm 95% of the time at the top of the score board with a level 10~19 class, even playing with BSN people.

But then again I guess that means that a large portion of people I play with, including the ones on BSN are worse than I am to huh?

the only time the scoreboard matters is when you're off trying to pad your stats while everyone else is helping with objectives AND you still don't come in first. that's the only time you look bad and should feel ashamed.

but if you're always trying and helping with objectives, you're safe no matter what position you come in. it will always be a job well done.

you even completed a wave 10 on a speedrun when we all said we were bleeding out. you took 5 mins running around buffing your score, instead of just dropping so we could run another game.

this thread is nonsense, get a girlfriend. or spend more time with miss hand and her five daughters

I like loading up on melee mods and running around falcon punching everything to death on gold, as im winding up the one hitter quitter in comes our hero and harriers him before my animation goes off everytime - getting the kill, so obviously hes FAR better than me...but I aint even mad - earn my money for me ****. Get to work.

Hm. No, I really don't care about score. Tend to feel mildly shocked if I end up with the most points after a game. I usually don't.

The only thing I use score for is to gauge how well I'm contributing to the game, Most the time I score pretty well, unless I'm a Volus then I'm last or should be if I'm contributing in the way I should. ( the way -I- play a Volus.)

But I don't brag or feel like crap if I score low or high. I do spawn nuke to make the game go faster not for points. Nothing like taking out two praetorians and scions and a crap ton of trash with one rocket.

I also Don't give two craps about "kill stealing" because it doesn't exist in this game.

All I want out of a game is, to have fun, kill stuff, and get paid doing it!..well paid in game. And that's what I do!

This was a very enjoyable read.

So the guy that said he scores about 40k points and watches the back and revives and what not... I see his point but tbh 40k is low. You can watch the back and still score about 100k a match at least like I do. I know exactly what he is saying, but you can still shoot **** and watch the back... be a little more aggressive it will make things go quicker

I DO NOT care about the score. I would rather be the guy saving the rambos ass's by sitting back and watching them then being the rambo that needs reviving all the time. I nuke when people are either stuck in a bad spot, I am in a bad spot or it's the Kill the Targets Obj. If it's wave 8-9 and I still have 6 missiles I will nuke spawns. I always laugh if/when I come in 3rd or last and have a 10+ revive medal.

Yes, you outscored me. BUT if I left your ass bleeding out then you would have scored 0 points for the rest of that wave, and the other wave you bled out in because you ran out of medigel by wave 6. Awesome job point guy, this one is for you! (what was that a Bud commercial? I know it was from a beer commercial...anyway). I LOVE rezzing team mates that stay with the group, do objectives and rez me if I need it. You can bet your ass I will make a bee line to these individuals with out a 2nd thought. The rambo's I sometimes don't want to rez but for some reason I am a rez addict.

I have a very bad habit of being a rez ****, meaning I will stop everything and go rez a downed team mate if it is not suicide. That 0 points for me while I am running to revive your stupid point whoring ass. Does that make ME the bad player? I think not. I SHOULD just ignore them and keep killing everything so I can look like an elite right??? Nah. Not my style. My style is to be the first one to a objective, to be the guy protecting the objective or be the one staying back from a bad situation so I can nuke the numerous enemies the "rambos" got themselves surrounded by because points are all the matters, right???? GTFO

I normally score between about 120k-150k a match(gold/plat). If I really want to I can score close to 200k. But I would rather sit back, have an easy match by covering the "try hards" so the game can go smoothly. I absolutely contribute by killing or damaging things, but I contribute more by being a team player.

And to me, being a team player and making the match go as quickly and as smoothly as possible is the only thing that matters to me. We all lived? Check. I had a huge hand in the fact we all live? Check. I killed things, I helped kill things, I did objectives and I contributed? Check. Good game for me then.

- and now as a joke... I am 16 inches and can curl 99 pounds with my penis so I have nothing to compensate for... I guess that's why I don't care about score ....

TLDR(can you TLDR a non OP post?) Be a team player and not a point **** ass that F's up spawn point so you can feel good about your sorry low self esteem ass. Thanks.

Yet, I still see very knowledgable persons that post regularily on these forums trailing behind the escort drone to mow down enemies that are BEHIND us. I will not name and shame, but I saw this only yesterday

The thing I don't get is that some people I play with say the score doesn't matter. Yet if I equip any gun that I like that is considered OP(widow,harrier,etc.) , then all off the sudden I am a douche for wanting to be effective with my kit. I played a lot to get my weapons to level 10 and now can't use them without being considered a score ****.
