Mass Effect 1:
- Sovereign landing on Eden Prime
- Talking with the Rachni Queen
- Ilos
- Storming the Presidium, with Sovereign starting off in the distance and gradually coming closer as you make your way up.
- "Alliance fleet, move in. Save the Destiny Ascension."
- "Goodbye, Shepard. Thank you."

Mass Effect 2:
- The whole damn intro.
- The introduction of the Normandy SR-2.
- Meeting Garrus on Omega.
- FemShep's smirk as she proposes a friends with benefits relationship with Garrus.
- Bro fist with Jacob and really, his whole behavior regarding his loyalty quest. His romance sucked, his character was butchered in ME3, but I really liked his "only sane man" role in ME2.
- The first part of the disabled Collector ship.
- The Suicide Mission and everything about it.
-- Finally taking out the Collector ship with the Thanix Cannon.
-- At the Collector Base, after making it through the first part with the vents, there's this shot of several squad members, shoulder to shoulder, emptying their assault rifles on the Collectors to keep them from entering while the doors close. It only lasted two seconds as most, but damn it was awesome.
-- Saving the Normandy's crew, with every squad member, human or alien alike, trying their hardest to get the crew out of their pods.
-- Picking Jack to hold up the bubble. Hearing her say "commander" without a trace of sarcasm in her voice... that's character development, people.
-- Getting called by your squad, hearing that they're casually holding of the assault by the entire Collector horde.
- Liara flipping off the Shadow Broker.
- The big damn kiss afterwards.
- Arrival radio chatter: "Shepard won't go down!"

Mass Effect 3:
- Mars radio chatter: "Holy ****, it's Shepard!"
- Jack rubbing it into Rodriguez why trusting Cerberus is a bad idea.
- Tarquin Victus' sacrifice.
- Grunt's last stand.
- Mordin's sacrifice / Padok Wiks' sacrifice.
- "You've been a champion to the krogan people, a friend to Clan Urdnot and a sister to me."
- The gauntlet before the Reaper Destroyer and your squad members' reactions. James' "Holy balls!" and EDI's "This redefines insanity!" stand out for me.
- Reaper vs. Thresher Maw.
- Thane deflecting Kai-Leng's sword with his Phalanx pistol.
- The boss fight against the Reaper on Rannoch.
- Brokering peace between the quarians and the geth.
- Traynor managing to track Kai-Leng far enough to give Shepard a fighting chance again.
- Killing Kai-Leng.
- The arrival of the fleet.
- Shepard's final goodbye to Garrus.
- The Extended Cut's Synthesis ending. It's not my canon ending and I don't care if it doesn't make sense: EDI's narration and hug with Shepard's LI were beautiful.
- That squad of Asari warriors on Thessia in the Destroy ending.
- Traynor's toothbrush.
- The final boss fight against CloneShep.

Well, there were plenty. I'm super sappy. But one awesome one is from the Citadel DLC.

I daresay that Kaidan is much worse at dancing than Shepard.. By far.

(The Kaidan dancing part starts around 26:59) I think I just about died of laughter when I saw that.

1. "And should the worst come to pass, grant me forgiveness"
2. "I am the very model of..."
3. "This is now my favorite spot on the citadel"

There's an awful lot of really good moments throughout the series. Rather than do a big list, here is my three favourites. Narrowing it down to three obviously omits a lot, and some very important moments are overlooked here. But still. It's the three that meant the most to me.

Suicide Mission (ME2) - it's probably the best mission the franchise has ever seen. And it's made better because the player ultimately decides who lives and who dies by their actions throughout the game - how they've played determines who makes it out alive. Is it perfect? No. The who lives and dies aspect is very simplistic. It's easy to get everyone to live just by doing their loyalty missions. Perhaps not being able to resolve the Jack/Miranda and Tali/Legion conflicts leading to one in each being in danger of dying would have made it a little more interesting. But I'm nitpicking. Your actions determine the outcome so it feels like a reward. It's action packed. It's tense. It's a showcase of everything the series does well.

Cure the Genophage (ME3) - One of the things ME3 did very, very well, and one of the times it really managed to get the emotional payoff that it deserved was in the Genophage story arc. The sacrifice really meant something, and you'd have to be a robot not to get glassy eyed as Mordin went to his death to help an entire race.

Finding Legion (ME2) - This is probably an odd one, especially over things like speaking to Sovereign, or the Virmire decision. I really like finding Legion in ME2 because it turns almost everything that we know of the Geth on its head. The Geth are pretty much a race of merciless, Reaper worshipping robots and then speaking with Legion utterly dispels that myth. We learn of the Geth people and of the way they reach decisions. It's a really interesting part of the story, and important to the game lore.
