I will consider nearly any MP component in a DA game as a deal breaker for me.
Anyone actually looking forward to MP in DAI?

As long as the single player is magnificent I don't mind any multiplayer, but to be honest the only kind of multiplayer that would really enthuse me wouold be the ability to play the main game in co-op.

No. I have no use for multiplayer.

The reason I play video games is never for combat, so multiplayer does not interest me in the slightest.

Don't really care. If it's good then it might be a bonus, but it's not what I'm paying my money for, and if it screws with what I'm paying my money for that's a problem.

As long as it doesn't take anything away from the campaign I'm fine with multiplayer being included.
Edit: When I say taking away from, I mean that the single player campaign is shorter when compared to campaigns of the previous two games.

Multiplayer as in coop (bg2 style) sure, multiplayer as in pvp, hell no. Pvp multiplayer always leads to whining and changes that might influence pve. There already was a lot of whining in da:o about class balance even though people never had to fight the 'other class'.

There are two ways Bioware can make DA3 commercially successful.
a) They try to win back the customers they alienated with DA2.
They add Multiplayer.
I sincerely hope it is the former.

They can do both. I was disappointed by DA2. I still want multiplayer. The division you are imposing is a false one.

As long as the SP and MP campaigns are kept entirely separate, I'm happy. I'm not a social gamer and I don't want to have to deal with people just to get content in my SP playthrough.
If I play multi-player, it should be because I want to; not because I feel like I have to.

I'm with Fast Jimmy on this. It's dangerously close to a deal breaker. However, Mike L. has practically almost promised us that any MP in DA will be handled very carefully and most likely in the spirit of the MP in the old BG II.
I think I can live with that. In particular since I did start one MP game in BG II. (It was II, wasn't it? I don't think it was ever finished though).
But, as someone else said, I don't play these games for the combat. And PvP goes so much against the core of what these games, wRPGs, are about. It would be like having a competitive player vs player element in,.. well, say... Sim City.
Not something the original audience will appreciate. At all.

I'm not really a fan of multiplayer so I'd probably skip it if it's in DA III. I'd rather it didn't affect the single-player story as well, since in Mass Effect 3 before the Extended Cut DLC I had to play multiplayer to increase my EMS score in single-player. I'd prefer to play multiplayer because I want to, and not because I'm having to so I can increase something like the EMS score.
If there is multiplayer then I hope the multiplayer fans enjoy it, but I'll probably just stick to the single-player story.

Bloody MP, i seriously hate it even part of a supposed RPG, MP games are a dime a dozen, i truly just want a SP RPG experiance like i get from bethesda and like i got from earlier bioware games.
Im hoping with it being a next gen game they'll focus more on the game than having MP, dlc, micro-transactions, season pass's, online pass's etc as they'll have to get to grips with the architecture of next-gen first and with deadlines i can but hope that they focus in the SP element, But then this is todays bioware in todays EA pocket.

Hard to look forward to something I have no details about. I didn't ask for MP in DA3 but I'm open to see what they're trying to do. Didn't think I'd like ME3's MP and did. I'm hoping it's not a copy of that but something unique to Dragon Age if they do decide to push MP. No compromise on SP either.

Elder Scrolls Online is coming out soon and actually looks very promising. DA3's online hasn't been revealed yet, but Bioware still hasn't convinced me that they're serious about online play. ME3 was just a mediocre horde mode that didn't grab my attention. It was just "Hey, this is an EA game and we have to do multiplayer because the boss said so."
I think they tried to add importance to multiplayer by making it required to unlock ME3's best ending. But all it did was ****** people off who were never interested in multiplayer or didn't have their consoles connected online.
In a nutshell, no, I'm not looking forward to it. I would be pleasantly surprised if it actually turned out great and made me wan to play in the world of Dragon Age with my friends. But I don't think they'll be able to pull it off. They're having enough trouble just with the single player part of the experience.

I'm indifferent really. I like a good multiplayer from time to time if it's well executed and actually fits the game. Tacked on multiplayer bores me and is a waste of resources. A well supported multiplayer can keep a game alive for a long time. As long as Bioware doesn't forgets that the main attraction for this series is and will always be the single player game. If the single player campaign feels like it was compromised in any way because of the inclusion of multiplayer, I will not be happy. And unhappy customers are not spending customers.
Oh and it goes without saying: Do not make it affect the single player. Words cannot express how I hated that in ME3.

No, I don't like combat and don't see how it won't be anything else.
I don't mind if it is added.
