Why? I run melee spec on her and almost never use the 2 redudant powers she has.

Yeah, on my Hunter Mode-less Geth Trooper only. I play him in kind of a weird way, too long to explain, but he's the only character I need the extra awareness on. Otherwise I'm pretty good at listening to my surroundings and don't need to /see/ what's going on.

i find it good for:

paladin (snap freeze through walls) / ex-cerberus adept (smash through wall) / cabal (melee and poison strike through walls)

are there any other wall hacking wizards?

next, i will try destroyer with it, typhoon and drill ammo ftw

Best used in classes with wall ignoring powers.

This include:

Snap Freeze
Electric Slash
Biotic Slash
Smash
Lift grenades

Geth scanner and vanguards were made for each other. It improves situational awareness considerably which is what vanguards really need.

Try it with novaguard or slayer. Really good.

Yes, and here's why:

Paladin Sentinel's snap freeze, as you probably know, blasts right through walls. If you have it specced for range (15 m), you can freeze nearly everything you scan. This is clutch on the close-quarters maps.

I also use it with the Talon Merc, just so I can get a better picture of what's coming. This makes for extremely effective trip mine placement.

I've only ever used it on the Juggernaut, and even then it's only because it is beyond odd playing a Geth kit without that overlay.
