Apparantly they have a huge problem with chain of command. Someone says something then realises he can't do what he said and takes it back.

Just like how RTO was at one time going to be discounted to $4. Yeah right.

Does Chris Priestley actually work for Bioware/EA or is he just a mod on the forum?  Regardless there's definitely some broken execution here.

I think most people are more irked by Bioware/EA's poor response over the entire thing.  I bet most people couldn't care less about playing the DLC at this point, but it's like waiting for a bus that never comes.  You might as well wait for it to actually show up.  Also, we lead very empty lives.

Alright... I've been gone for 2 hours, come back to check the thread I made, and alot of people are posting Xbox spoilers (Eg. the length, the people who comment, etc.) I'm requesting this thread to be locked. Sry to people who are actually posting about legitamate issues and updates, but when people come in here to talk about their personal experience of a DLC that we haven't been able to experience yet, it just pisses me off.

I'm honestly feeling rather confused now. I mean I can perfectly fine continue my life without Return to Ostagar, it's not that important to me. But this whole mess about it's release is getting very annoying.

One moment I read it's finally coming out and I even buy the points because I can't believe they would delay it AGAIN. And now when I actually plan to download the thing, I find out it's not out and there is very little information about it.

Come on is an ultra short DLC and companies have troubles,  why dont u all take a break, go out of the place where u are to hear the birds sing and the river flow then u will realize that life is more than getting annoyed for a DLC of a game?

All of this is sick if u can abstract yourself and read the posts.

Don't feel too loney there. I did the same. I saw the new release date, purchased the points tonight when I got home from work. Fired up the game and thoughts of... "WTF? Where's RTO?" ran through my head. did some checking around and found out the dazip package for RTO can be downloaded. Couple mins later, low and behold there it was, installed, and taunting me like a Demon of the Fade or something.

It's winter, the birds are gone, and the streams frozen.  It's either the ****** bar or in front of my computer.  $5 goes a ways longer with my computer <_<

Wait..so you were able to install it, but can't play it now?

Wait..so you were able to install it, but can't play it now?

Probably requires authorization.

Correct ser. It can be installed. But the Down loadable content manager in game reports as Installed(Unauthorized!).
Meaning it's installed but I don't own it so it won't be playable.

So people haven't actually tried to edit the Addins.xml inside the "Settings" folder and set the "RequiresAuthorization" flag (or w/e its called) to 0 specifically for the RtO package ? Not sure if that actually allows you to play, though it would make sense (haven't tried it myself, at work atm).

Man I wanted to play RtO before Mass Effect 2 comes out. Once that does, I may not touch DAO till Project Awakening. Man too many games from Bioware. The big one is going to be Star Wars MMO... oh man there goes my life...

Bioware I love you dearly, I truly do but this is reaching epic amounts of ridiculousness... and still no official word. OK I understand you need to fix XBOX version but hasn't it been stated that the specializations bug doesn't affect the PC one? So why is the PC not out yet?

Ever thought about almighty Microflopp doesn't want it's ~Platforms~ to be handled seperately?
I BET, that they urgend BioWare to not release XBox and PC (Windows...) seperately. I'd bet on it. So personaly, I continue cursing Microsoft, and not BioWare

That website I dislike, because they are never right. Accouriding to that website some time ago, they were supposed to release rto the next day because some itality person got it but never got released. Here's what I know

1.) Around 8 am, they said "Return to Ostasgar now released.

2.) Around 4 pm they changed title to xbox return to ostasgar released now, pc released later todat

3.) Return to osgtar released on xbox live topic changed

I have faith and trust in bioware, but this content is only an hour long. How are they going to be able to handle an expansion which is 15 hours if it's taking months for an hour long one
