Anyway, you all play multiplayer, but I want to know; Were you always planning on doing that? Or did it start off as a "I hate you Multiplayer....but my friend wants me to help them 'cuz they suck, oh hey, that wasn't so bad" then turn into a ,"I'm on mp all the time, better go check the BSN MP forums~ Rocking my kit!"
http://social.biowar...30/polls/44455/
I mean, really, haven't you thought; "Hmm, I wonder how many other people feel this way"? D:
I would really appreciate it if some of you took the time to look over the poll at least.
After all; This kind of question is highly important to me. I don't know why, it's much like that little problem regarding turning on the light a specific amount of times before entering the room (/sarcasm)

I was... uncertain when I first read that Mass Effect 3 would add an MP element. Only other MP game I've played is Motorstorm, which was a racing game which you figured would have MP.
Mass Effect was such a strong single player, I really wondered how'd they'd pull off an MP mode.
At this point, I honestly have just as much fun - if not more - playing ME3 MP as I do the single player campaign.
Call me a devoted follower at this point.

For me, I was upset about ME getting MP and I felt it would detract from the single player campaign.
[...] Perhaps that means I was correct in my assumption that it would be detrimental to the campaign (as I feel there is A LOT wrong on that side of things).
Hmm.
See that's strange. Everything felt crippled once I'd played ME2 for the first time---plot wise.
(I didn't like me2 by comparison to me1 at all. I still 'like' me2, just... Me1 is what I would picture as Jean luc picard sitting back, sipping some earl gray checking over a data pad. Where as Me2 was more akin to the newest Star trek movie where all the characters are young and sexy--doing silly things with lots more drama, explosions and other hollywood gimmicks. )
So with the above in mind; I had been looking forward to ME3s multiplayer; as sort of a 'live forever in a repetitive vague dream' thing. Since the plot had this new feel to it that I hadn't been digging.
(I've played other MPS, I already knew some ofthem had potential to be highly addictive. Where as others I couldn't get rid of fast enough)
I have to say though, While I had been looking forward to the MP, and dreading the SP I find that They are both alright. The MP is a little less then what I was hoping for but it's alright.

Initially I was very wary of the idea when the demo came out. I thought it was going to be a disaster since Bioware had no real experience in that department. I had initially only intended to play the demo for the Single Player. Thanks to my then-roomate and still best friend testing the MP waters while I was passed out and giving his approval (which is something I take note of since he is very hard to please, multiplayer game-wise), I gave it a shot. A few games later I found myself in the then-beautiful situation of an Asari Adept specced for full-bubble stasis....and a Mantis (insert your laughs here, but it was pretty legit in a non-dragoon, cerberus-only environment).
Many hours of the full game later I found myself playing insanely more of the multiplayer than any of the other games I own/d at the time (My poor Lost Odyssey, and not-so-poor Final Fantasy XIII).
I may have qualms with it at times, and I may temporarily migrate to new games for a short time (see also - 2 different 100% playthroughs of Tomb Raider 2013), but I will forever hold this multiplayer in mu heart for the enjoyment I have had with it, as well as the opportunity to meet some of the most wonderful people I have met and added to my Xbox friends list who I can talk with about anything, including any problems I deal with or have dealt with in real life, and vice-versa.
Thank you Bioware for providing one of my most cherished social experiences in my entire life.

10 months later and my OCD has still kicked in but for very different reasons. I never intended to play past getting my 1000 cheevos on Xbox but I havent played another game since June last year and still have to play the SP DLC which I bought as soon as they were released!!
I think I need to see a Dr Crane.

Back in my day there was this thing called "One hit wonders" Oh wait--- Well that one fell through ok. First attempts at things aren't always bad. I myself am highly susceptible to "Beginners luck" (maybe not with my communication skills, maker only knows how many first impressions I've blown) But I think it's a good rule to live by that Something you've never seen a person do before has a 50-50% Win/Fail ratio. Even so, no matter how much exp, or how good something may be... There is *always* room for improvement. (license to fail~)
I'm glad you've had good times, and made good friends, also it's nice to see someone who is actually grateful/Appreciative for something, for once ^^

The results of the test are proving to be satisfying.
(Now let's just hope I don't become crazed and begin tests for that continuous satisfaction... unless I'm already at that point and I only need one test for that drive to be fulfilled... Hmm. )

After playing the pre-release demo of MP, I was hooked. In fact, MP changed how I played the campaign. I went from a RPG style pause-assign actions-release, to all real time action.
