It seems that you woke up and gained attention from a LARGE number of cc folks and have engaged them in very lively topics of conversation.

This is the most healthy series of questions and answers that I think I have ever seen on these forums.  Great job!

While I appreciate the attention, it's people like OTR, Rolo, Amethyst Dragon, Zwerkules, Six, Draygoth, Sen, PsteMarie, and countless others I'm forgetting here through their selfless contributions to the community, or even you, through your repeated and patient explanations each time a question comes back forth, which should be praised first and foremost.

I have done nothing in comparison to deserve special treatment.

OOOooooppppsssss.... Sorry Nissa, no intent to embarrass, but actually to ENCOURAGE folks to ask questions, especially when so well thought out and previously researched as you have done.

Yes, the folks that provide answers, and ALTERNATE answers deserve praise for their help, but seeing someone that may or may not be struggling with a specific or multiple problems, take the time to format their questions in such an insightful way only adds encouragement to us all.

That was all that I meant by the Thank You, and I will stand by that until someone proves me wrong! (fat chance of that happening)

Hekc it looks like between several of the answers to the sparkle edge problem, we may be able to glean enough gems out of the various answers to provide a step=by=step way to avoid/and or fix that issue!   Gawd would that make ME happy!

A life without questions is just boring.

Questions are what this community lives on, Nissa_Red.  Someone has a question or a suggestion, and it keeps things moving.  If I never asked questions, I'd never have learned how to do some things with NWN that I couldn't see the game without.  This community thrives on people bringing new thoughts.

Whether it's a question on how to merge a 2da line, a question on how to get started with making models, or even just a question on if something can be done about something showing in the game...the questions get folks to share what they know and brainstorm solutions to things that have been around for years.

Just from personal experience here... Maybe someone asks a question, searching for a piece of content they can't find (because it doesn't exist), such as mops, which get's a community member to make something new.  Maybe a question is asked about changing part of the GUI to help someone with a visual limitation, and a solution get's provided.  Or perhaps someone else asks about finding a way to unlock the game engine to add new visual effects (for weapons, or beams, etc.)...and a programmer provides a way to do that.  Back in the day, before the 1.69 patch, a question could even get part of the game itself altered for doing things like customizing emote icons.

We like questions around here.  And Nissa_Red...those of us that have been around for a little while like to thank those that make us think (of solutions to problems, or of new content to make).  And if your questions help to improve the game (by allowing you to make new stuff, or by helping to fix lingering issues)...all the better!

Please don't feel embarrassed about having questions.  We're generally a friendly bunch that welcomes questions.   What's the old saying? "The only stupid question is the one that is never asked."

And there's not really any spotlights here to stand in.  We're a pretty small community, so feel welcome to contribute thoughts, ideas, comments, observations, and yes, questions.

Now that I've rambled on for some time about questions, and used the word repeatedly...I'm off to go find answers to more questions inquiries that I may have myself.
