So, it's fairly obvious we're all eager for Return to Ostagar. Considering that the forums are almost literally a wildfire of disappointment and hatred towards other hardware owners and Bioware with the single-console release of the hyped DLC, what is to be made of its sudden removal from Xbox Live?

An issue from the latest title update seems legitimate enough a reason to cease sale of the content, while on the other hand I hope the reason was just as much due to what many see as hardware bias. That is not to personally stake any claim on that opinion, but it is out there in the seething flames.

I apologize if this thread antagonizes moderators or developers, but it should be said and is fair that everyone should wait for the same content. If content must take longer for a different piece of hardware, even if it is technical babble, it is good to provide the consumer with such a reason, rather take their anger as a future financial grievance. I would say especially so in this case, with RtO's delay after delay with nothing other than vague excuses and now today's events simply frustate gamers.

Bioware, I love you and your awesome games. I love Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Baldur's Gate. What I don't love is that you can't compromise the frustration you impose on your loyal audience with some explanation as to why we wait, rather than offend with tolerant expectations. The community doesn't ask much in the need for more than "it's due to an issue" for what is poised to become an industry "Horse Armor" joke in terms of the ludicrous handling of Dragon Age's first true (lengthy as compared to others) piece of DLC.

Can we get anything to make us feel better? We've heard plenty of apologies, but what would be even better is a reason to sooth our burns.

I've got some Aloe Vera in my linen closet if that will help.

Sten doesn't need a dark alley o.o

But I'd be surprised to know that most wouldn't agree on an informed and multi-console release as the best option for everyone. Oh well, if no one else cares then I won't either =O

Yes, I mentioned that in my post. But with hopes to other reasons.
